G'day system punters. I bet for lots of fun and I go for fun mini systems. I only ever look at Tab Nos 5, 6, 7 & 8. It puts me in a number sector that wins around 35 percent of all races and that often throws up very good prices. It also makes my system checking really quick

RULES OF THE 5*6*7*8* FUN SYSTEMS
1/ Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane main meetings
2/ Only look at Tab Nos 5, 6, 7 & 8 after morning scratchings

A/ The BACKER UPPERS selection is any of these horses whose latest race was 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 days ago. It must be the only BACKER UPPERS qualifier amongst those numbers in the race

B/ The HI STRIKERS selection is any of the horses (Tab Nos 5, 6, 7, or 8) whose placegetting percentage for all its starts is 56.78 percent or more from at least 5 life starts. It must be the only HI STRIKERS qualifier amongst those numbers in the race

C/ Any final selections from the above 2 systems that are BOTH BACKER UPPERS AND HI STRIKERS qualify as STUNNERS and are backed for triple the normal bet

Give it a run on paper and have some fun with it. Good luck, Great luck from Numerator

I got stuck on Rule B here:

It must be the only HI STRIKERS qualifier amongst those numbers in the race

Can you say this again. Can you have more than one? Or ?

G'day Frying Pan,
The idea is that there is only one HI STRIKER per race. If two or more horses qualify as being Tab Nos 5,6,7,or 8 and have the placegetting percentage of 56.78 or more, then there is no HI STRIKER selection in the race. The selection must be the exclusive qualifier under the rules. I've posted today's final selections in the racing forum. Hope this helps.

MALTESE BEAUTY was a nice jag.

Why 56.78% for place %? Why not 60%??

Have you researched this 56.78% figure?

4 good roughies won at EF on sat.

good work anyway.

G'day grasscutter,
the 56.78 percent figure is just a bit of a fun figure. I use it because it has those digits, 5 - 6 - 7 - 8
But it actually works well in most systems and plans because it eliminates many also rans and keeps the better performers. It requires a BETTER placegetting percentage than 5 out of 9 (55.5 percent) or 6 out of 11 (54.5 percent) or 8 out of 15 (53.3 percent) for example. You can see that it looks for horses often in the money. Your suggestion of 60 percent would probably work just as well. I'm just hooked on numbers 5, 6, 7, and 8 !!
Thanks for the feedback grasscutter. The systems are meant to be fun and can always be played around with.

Numerator,

Do you have any other little systems like this?

I hope your system continues to work well - you're getting quite a following with this method - if it keeps winning - the odds may start to sink on these horses!
