I actually dont have any accounts with any online bookies, and I am after some decent prices for once ;)
What are the best ones going around, Australian, and have the most variety of things to bet on.
Í am mainly interested in AFL, Cricket, Tennis and Basketball.
Any replies would be appreciated.

IMHO
Betfair has the most options
Davidson has the best prices
Sportodds' roll your owns are the best betting option, but only on S12 and NRL
basically everyone has basketball over/unders and starts.
Not sure about the others but i know sportstab has set betting, set scores etc. on tennis

I'm a fan of Centrebet for all round use - they cover a huge range of sports, from AFL/NRL to Darts... they offer odds on sports you never thought existed! They also have an online poker site, but only international users can use it as online poker is illegal in aus!
If you want the best odds available Betfair is normally the way to go, other than Betfair the odds that are put up differ from bookie to bookie and its probably an idea if you're a serious punter (not like me) to get multiple accounts across many bookies. TAB is probably the worst excuse for a bookie known to mankind, they take a huuge commision out of the pool which really gets on your nerves after some time, they offer few events and are often slow to price up. The sooner Betfair takes over the bulk of gambling proceedings the better
Happy punting

By Virtue of the fact U are online means your not restricted to Australian Bookmakers .......Like Chuck said Betfair is an option but that depends on which state you live in (that is if your in Australia) Lots of options but not much Chop for Multis ,,,Sportodds I like ,,,,,I also use Gamebookers they are overseas but before you do anything find out about your withdrawl options just in case you have a victory and want your money ....because you deposit with your credit card ...the government has it so you cant get those firms to put money back into that same credit card ....I get Sportodds to send me cheques ...uncomplicated no good if you need the freight in a hurry .though......Gamebookers use a thing called Moneybookers which is pretty good but your going to have to look into these things yourself I find it a bit difficult to put it all into words without it sounding all to complicated... But I suppose the best bet Is to stay with the reputable firms ,,,,SPORTOODS CENTREBET SPORTINGBET in Ausralia BETFAIR GAMEBOOKERS Overseas are Just a few of Many many many.... I have accounts with all of them except Centrebet but I think Ill open an account with them soon .Betfair has a minimum of $6bets the other overseas ones have min $2 Aussie and Sportodds you can bet as low as $1 .....Hope That Helps If you go to Goonersguide .com youll find a list of overseas bookies on the home page they all seem very reputable and also this site that we are using recommends a couple of bookies as well ....THE END

Hi Kitch
5dimes & Pinnacle for tennis
Stan James (UK) puts tennis lines up first so if you think your choice is going to be backed in they can be very good.
Canbet for US sports (used to be aussie now UK) -107 lines and usually get them up early.
If you log into into sportspunter.com or betbrain.com they give you bookie comparisons so you can do your own evaluation.
If you go the smartgambler home page http://www.smartgambler.com.au they do a pretty good comparison of different bookies.
Stay away from anything that looks like it is American or Carribean unless you do some very careful research.
