My results for the last 3 mths are
26 wins from 78 bets
A profit of $35.
I would like to increase the profit, so what staking plan should i use.

Surely you must change your strategy....
A profit of $35 in 3 months from a $78 outlay?????
I have implemented a strategy and have currently turned over $60,000 dollars in the last 23 days......
I personally cannot see how you can confirm anything with such limited results.
I am up $4200 which is a return of about 107% and I am still not convinced that I am on a winner....
I will need to continue this for about another 6 months before I can convince myself, so with an outlay of $78, I think you are yet to change your first nappy....
Although a profit is a profit, it still needs to be worthwhile.....

I would agree with BJ to a point you need to test it a lot more....but on the other hand thats a nice profit....i would sugest getting a small test bank together say $500 and start backing your selection with 2% of that bank and recalculating the betting amounts weekly
BJ the fact you have turned over $60k means little you said your self this was in 23 days and your profit is $4200 thats about 7% pot.....if that $78 was $78,000 then that would be a profit of $35,000 or 44%
in the end it is all just numbers

Why not experiment with the 6 point divisor plan.
This staking plan has built in safety brakes to protect the bank.
Cheers.

as darky has said a divisor plan should work well with your results to date.
with that strike rate & average dividend i suggest running your results thru the retirement staking plan & you will surely see a marked improvement in profit, as well as providing a level of protection to your bank should things turn south for a while.

Howdie,
The lads are right, you need to bet in a higher bracket to get larger profits, your % profit is good !, i personally would either save for a larger bank and invest a LITTLE more, or keep going with what you are doing and slowly build a bank with your winnings,
EG:
Dingo started with 500 units a little over two months ago, betting roughly 1 % of bank, i now average 1000-1300 units TURNOVER per day, 7000 units per week, 28000 per month and 336,000 per year, now thats with starting bets of 4 units per race. Not big time by any means but with a reasonable pot it can be OK.
Dont be in a rush, if it feels right, dont play with it cause it might fall off, and dont fall into the trap of, "its working, time to double the bets (dingo !)" then Mr.Murphy comes along with his big stick!
Definatally try the six point divisor plan, its very smart and saves your bank when MrMurphy does come calling, remember, devise a bank that can handle the run of outs, this is important, this divisor plan does that.
This may help also.
Establish a bank of lets say 1500 units, split this this way"
500 unit betting bank
500 unit spare betting bank (just in case)
500 in term deposit with bank(its there earning something while you dont use it, its there if you do need it to start again) This bank is where your profit goes every week, maybe split the profit and put half in your reserve and half in the bank ?
Just some thoughts
Good luck
Dingo boy

It's funny - I got halfway through a post about a staking plan - was curious to see if one of them could help a system I've been working on - and the next day Benny had posted this thread. I'd also like to thank you guys for your thoughts , 'cos it was what I've been after. Only one prob , what is this 6 point divisor thingy : - ) If it's on another thread could someone point me to it. Or if it's easy to type could someone post here. Just to let you know the figures I'm working with. My system produces a bet around every second day - these figures are at level stakes.
Bets.....Wins.....Places.....WinDiv.....PlaceDiv
36........15.........26...........63.4..........41.4
I did have one winner which paid $29.7 / $4.9 so to rule out the fluke element I leave it out of the calculations otherwise they'd be $93.1 / $46.3
By the way - I usually bet win only.
Appreciate if anyone can help
Cheers
Mick

Don't want to be a wet blanket but I think it has already been alluded to.
78 bets and definitely 36 bets are not anywhere near enough to be getting up and saying I have a system. They are promising results and good luck with them but tread warily for the landmines are plentiful.
Definitely practice on paper for an extended period of time. It is not much fun and can be tough when you see your method producing great results and you don't have a brass razoo on, but anything good is worth waiting for.
Best of luck.

Gday mate,
type this into your search engine
"grandstand publishing"
that should get you there.
Otherwise, top bar of the page your reading now, white writting, blue background, "search" type in 6 point divisor plan or grandstand publishing there.
Hope it helps, i asked and posted on this subject before and had a lot of help from the other members, its a top plan once you get your head arround it
Cheers dingo
