i had a conference at the launceston casino yesterday and had my first taste of the sky/tvn mix.
it was a catastrophe really and i didnt participate although i like to punt and hand done my form and all.
firstly the big screen with tvn was so dark it was undistinguishable for watching races.
the gold coast and morphettville races were on the small screens but there was no sound and no broadcast.
there was no broadcast on melbourne or sydney races for most of the day but you could watch them.
kyneton was quite good and had loud broadcast.
if i had taken a radio with me i think i could have made the confusion work okay. there was only about 15 people doing the races and half seemed to be not punting.
its a shambles and i predict will cost tabcorp big time before this is over as even i skipped a days racing yesterday when i was potentially at the best service place i had been for years.
oh well i might go back to golf after all.
