I was just working mine out. I've decided against the treble bet this week.

I'll post mine here even though it's over $100 and show my intentions with saving if im alive after the 1st 2 legs.

Geel 25-73+
Haw 1-60
Bris 1-48
Syd 1-48, Saints 1-36

Total Cost- $350 for 50c.

I will save on the following combos if im alive after Geel and the Hawks.

Bris 40+ into Saints 40+
Bris 40+ into Swans 40+
North 1-39 into Saints 1-39
North1-39 into Saints 1-39
North 1-39 into Saints 40+
North1-39 into Swans 40+.

I will also have something on Saints 37-60 simply to cover 37,38,and 39.
If North win by 40+, I will never bet again on the AFL and thats a promise!!

We'll keep you to that. :D

As for Rabbitz, I thought you weren't going to watch AFL again if West Coast lost last week??? ;)

rabbitz
27th May 2005, 10:39 AM
when did they lose?
oh that game last week
they didnt lose ,they just felt sorry for Collingwood,so they let them win, there's the loophole you see,its abit like Brisbane saying lets toy with the others for a while then we'll win 90% of our remaining matches finish in the eight win two semis, make the grandfinal then win that,Simple you see!

They must have let you out of the funny farm this weekend!!

Mo, I would like you to take your footy quad for $20 because it's pretty gettable like that. You will obviously lob it 5 times so you can take us all to the Flower drum.

Major change in thinking!
Don't tell me Alastair Lynch is in?

Nah, I wish he was!!
North are average and I reckon the Lions may just be sick and tired of just losing at home.
Just a gut feeling it may be a poleaxing.
Again, my main aim is to try and be alive after 2 legs. If thats the case I should make a profit each week.

I reckon the Kangaroos will win.

Brisbane are playing poor football, have massive injury clouds over several big names and have now shown that the GABBA isn't the 'house of pain' as it was a few years ago.

Kangas are fired up, Sav to kick 7 and them to win <39

Fremantle = The bookies' team
The bookies said that Richmond were the bookies team because punters keep backing teams to beat them but Richmond keep marching on.
How do you figure Fremantle?

So down the chute goes twenty bucks.
Must say my 20 got a better run than your 350.
What I believe is that I wouldn't have got any closer had I spent $350.
If you are lucky you are lucky, regardless of how much you invest or combinations taken. That's how it works.

Melbourne vs Fremantle (IN Melbourne): Almost everyone picks Melbourne as a safe bet. Freo wins in a big upset.

Fremantle vs Hawthorn (AT Subiaco): Just about everybody picks Fremantle to win at home. They get thrashed.

Geelong vs Fremantle (AT Geelong): Again, nearly everybody labels Geelong as a sure thing. Freo wins in another big upset.

I can't work 'em out. At least they were consistent when they always won at home and always lost away.

Well the upsets continue regardless of who is playing.
2 out of 3 so far.No wonder thebookie(the forum one) is doing so well.
Interested to see the his results when results get a bit more predictable. If ever!

Kitchy for pick of the round!

Sav wasn't playing, but the roos won by under 39 which is what I had them for!

$55@ 4.95

= $217.25 profit

Thanks for coming.

Like I said it's an investment. If I lob the first 2 winners I will be in front every time.
I missed them this week but I will hopefully, make a profit over the whole year.

Consider this Mugsy.

Do you reckon if you spend a hundred bucks on Tattslotto every Saturday night, you improve your chances of winning, than if you only spend $10 a week?
Destiny at work here I believe.

Looks tough. Mind, you isn't it every week!!!
Early thoughts WCE to break their MCG hoodoo and give the Tiges a beating.
Really unsure what effect Brown's terrible injury will have on the teams psyche. Good or bad?

Carl/ Syd should be close. Both teams dont play the game to poleaxe opposition.

I expect Freo to really hurt Brisbane on that big, big ground. Freo by plenty.

Crows/Bombers. Another closey. Watched Bombers last week and they were pretty good. Next to no injuries and I reckon even if the boys get beat it wont be by more than 4-5 goals.

Intersted to hear others thoughts

At 3/4 time of Ess/Ade and we are getting poleaxed. Maybe the Crows are better than I give them credit for. They are definitely hard at.
If Bris win by 40+, not only do I lose my footy quad but my saving doubles will be out also. I HATE FREMANTLE!!!

Luck was with me. AKERMANIS had a shot 20 sec before the siren and kicked a point to make he final margin 39 points!!!
Imagine barracking for Freo.
Made a small profit on the footy quad, with savers and will stick with my system of trying to lob the first 2 winners and then laying off.

Seems everyone else seems to pick all the winners after the event so I might as well pretend I won!

But I did spend $3 on the 1/4 quad Friday night and missed the 3rd leg.
Had West Coast 13-24 and they ran 1-12 after messing with the ball 10 metres out with a minute to go.
