Race 1.
Really like Gilded Youth who ran a huge race last start and Dane Fever who also ran very well last start..both these should like the speed set up by Renouf who will lead and be in it a long way..
Race 2.
Algorithm is one of my fav horses but has drawn the outside..this horse can fly and if they let him settle at the back give him some room on the outside he'll be to good for these..helter Skelter will put himself in the race as will Octanee.....
might be alittle short for Tornado alley..
Race 3.
Solid as Rock is flying at the moment but has drawn wide..Experience is racing well and has a young form jockey on board,,great value race this will look at tris ..think BloodnBone will appreciate the good track and just has to jump with them to be competitive..
willing to risk Hulk Hogan..
race 4.
Diamondside looks to good..but fourwinners will apreciate the extra distance and will test him..nova star for third
Race 5.
Smart Chariot on his last run looks well in this...also think Bohemian dancer has a huge chance in this finished off really well last start...i was on Amex last start but dont think doomben suits him...he'll be thereabouts though.
race 6.
I like enthusiast here especially with Bowman aboard..he'll put himself in the race ..hopefully he'll sit just behind Oscar who will give alot of cheek out front..
race 7.
Perlin with the blinkers looks good..but think theres value in either Bush Honey , Devastating or Portland Singha..
willing to risk Platnum scissors ..
tough race .
race 8.
Eremein all day but i might have a go at Spirit Of Tara if the odds are right ..
Good Luck all.. :)

When I saw the heading mate all I could think about was this could be the state I am in at 5 o'clock this afternoon. Just about to head out to the airport now ready for the big day.
Race 1: if I have to pick anything in this race it would probably be Dane Fever but to be honest I probably will leave this one alone.
Race 2: I don't mind Poetic Papal and he should only be fitter from the big break that he had had first up I also think that Lucky Diva will be hard to beat.
Race 3: Blood 'n' Bone is going pretty well and as long as he jumps with them he will be tough to beat he is creaping up in the weights though. Daunting Lad, The Spit and Cha Cha D'Amour are the others I like in the race if the later gets a clear crack at them then it just might get there seems to really like Doomben.
Race 4: To be honest there are only 2 horses I want ot be on here Diamondsondinside and Street Smart will most likely end up on Street Smart hoping for a bit of e/w value.
Race 5: Hard race to work out this one I liked the run of Bosworth Field first up for Dwyer and it did have some fair form in Sydney before coming here, Wishart worries me a little looks lik he is starting to get fitter might be a run to early for him though.
Race 6: Dezigna and Step Ahead are the 2 I like here with plenty of dangers in such a big field luck is going to play more of a part than anything in this one.
Race 7: Cedar Manor looks the hardest to beat in this one he is in beautifully at WFA but I must say I didn't like the way he ran the 2500m of the derby in Victoria so maybe he might be a worry at the distance hard to say really. After him I like Raw Instinct, Bush Honey, Natural Blitz and Pacific Dancer.
Race 8: Hard race if Eremein runs upto his first up run then he probably walks in but there is a chance it may have flattened him a little and there are a host of dangers if he does race flat. Spirit of Tara, Lords A Leaping and Roving Owl are where I might try to find some value.
Good Luck with the punt today guys hope we all go home winnners.

i agree Mug Punter..was unlucky last start and will be nice eachway odds i'm guessing 8's..especially with every man and his dog tipping Eremein who will be flip of the coin odds or shorter..
Wow Raw Instinct ..its good to see someone other than me having a go at value horses..good luck..
Dam.. just heard on the radio Mark Oberhart tipping Bohemein Dancer....usualy the kiss of death..

1: Gold Class used to be quite good, terrible first up last start but could throw in a big one
2: Yeah, i agree with Raw that Poetic Papal will appreciate the rest, bit of a worry from barrier 11
3: No bet
4: Diamondsondinside to good again. Upilio and Nova Star the minors
5: Proud Native as my best here for the day. Last three runs he has been aching for the mile, and will get it here...
6: Nothing really stands out for mine...Face Value at odds
7: Portland Singa all day...Natural Blitz and Devastating for the minors
8: Eremein to do it very very easy. OF course having said that he'll probably lose, but is a double group one winner and is classes above them. Zauberei for 2nd

Race 1,
Great start to the day..Renouf was always going to be hard to run down here at Doomben..Gilded Youth was fantastic was held up a little in the begining of the straight wich cost him..Dane Fever will win his next..
Race 2,
Had a go at Algorithm..this horse has nearly got back all the money i won on him a few starts ago...was held up almost the whole way down the straight and was full of running..he needs to get to the outside and then balance up..if hes asked to change direction he starts throwing his head..would like to see maybe a noseroll on him...anyway havent give up yet..
carolinas Boy snuck under the radar and after looking at his form later was always a show in this,,,Helter was disaappointing..
in hindsight could of made a stack laying tornado alley..
Race 3.
Was hoping for value here..got just the opposite..There was a heap of talk about Daunting Lad but i still wasnt convinced..Munce rode him a treat..Huge run by Hulk Hogan..this horse is a star in the making..Bloodnbone ran well with the weight..nice run by doonan dancer..
went wide with the tris ..but no good..
race 4.
A no bet race with diamontheinside just to good and to short....
Race 5.
Couldnt get the odds i wanted about Bohemmiem Dancer and just as well..
great run by Wishart ..Hope you were on Raw Instinct..
Race 6 .
I doubted Ballet Society with the break,,went wide with 1st4's and tris and a eachway on Enthusiast....dissapointing effort ...
Race 7.
A no bet race after the scratching..perfect ride by danny ...doubt Bush Honey would of got him but you never know....
Race 8.
Grabbed a first 4 here ..but it payed nothing...great run by Activation Well done Mug Punter...
Spirit of tara made a stack of ground and will win a good race soon..
All in all a dissapointing day at Doomben especially after cleaning up at the start..my only real go was Algorithm at 25's would of nearly retired on that..
...
Great day at Melbourne thanks to D Moore ...a jockey i've been following for awhile now..Cellar edition was a good result and Galactica in the last at Gold Coast was really nice ...but had to sweat for awhile during the protest.
Hope someone cleaned up the Bookies at Doomben..i'll get them next time.. :)

remember our faith in the inside barriers in brisbane.
wishart's form was much better than it looked.
they grow an extra leg when drawn inside up there and i think the wide ones wait for next time.
although very impressed with the power of hulkhogan from barrier 20 was top run.

Yes I was on Wishart was a nice pickup for me there pretty average day on the punt overall for me but just the experience being htere was great now onto Stradbroke day and Brisbane Cup day which should be just as good.
