Race 1.Open Race
No.3 Cos Snip $3.40 needs $5.10 for $30

Race 2.If the 1st starters were any good,they'ld be in a higher class race.Toppy,being a leader,is a special.
No.1 Danerich $2.60 need $3.60,(no chance of that) for $40

Race 3.Fit horses stand out again
No.2 Noise Barrage $2.75 need $3.90 for $40

Race 5.Concern that the toppy appears to need a break
No.1 Glasnost $3 need $4.35 for $30
No.2 Fly Me Home $3.60 need $5.50 for $30

Race 6.First up over 1600?.I don't think so.2nd up?.YES!
No.1 My Fraarlein $2.60 need $3.60 for $40 (E/W all day)

I learnt this.
Recent form is the best form.
I've been going on best track and best distance,but what happened 12 months ago is only that!
Plus I learnt this.
It takes a lot of time to do the form and if you ain't got the time,or the interest,don't bother.
I will now limit myself to about 2 hours of form study.If that means only 4 races analyzed,so be it.

Valley selections for races 1,2 and 3 were too short.
Went $15 E/way on Fly by Me for a collect of $31.50
Done $40 on My Fraulein.Never likely.Sorry about that!
Went $10 E/way on Super Groove.

Earlier I bet at Canterbury.
Race 3 No.1 $20 E/w and No.3 $15 E/W.$70 returned $38.
Race 4 No.2 Gold Ransom $30 E/w.The $60 returned $90.

Time will tell if I spent too much effort on Moonee Valley.
Just minutes before the 7th at Doomben I found No.2 Animate at $2 needing $2.60 for $50.I'm home now so I'll let this one go without me.
Won't back it but will have it at $25 E/way in my rundown.

Obviously didn't spend enough time on the race.Horse ran last.
And Super Groove ran last as well.Thank you very much punting gods!

Next is the 7th at Canterbury.Couldn't be bothered going back to the tote for this one either.Especially after Animates' top effort.

Nice tipping Sportz. Are you still using your modified TasTab/QTab ratings that I saw in an earlier post?

Unlike xpt who does ratings on all races, I only do ratings on what I consider the most suitable betting races each day. On Wednesdays, that usually means about 6 races. However, I couldn't find a suitable race at Moonee Valley today, so I only had 4 rated races: DOOM R7, DOOM R8, CANT R7, BELM R5. I had the winner rated clearly on top in all 4 of those races, so that was good.

As for the other tips, some of them are from systems of mine and some are just my own basic assessments from looking at the form. By the way, I actually left a couple of Perth races off my post by mistake. I had the last 2 winners there as well, so I had a good day thanks largely to that man Paul Harvey. You just can't go far wrong backing him in Perth.

I see you had Aunt Lydia in the last race too. I love backing Paul Harvey in the last race. He won on Saturday and he's done it again today.
