Wesmip1's new system test

Guys,

Thought it might be time to trail a new system on the board which I have been monitoring for the last few weeks. Time to trial it publicly so it can fall flat and I can get back to monitoring my bets from my usual systems.

Tips for tommorrow are :
Hawksberry Race 8 - Cascadia
Murrary Bridge Race 13 - Mytilini Miss
Murrary Bridge Race 3 - Hurricane Gaze
Murrary Bridge Race 8 - Go Harvey
Launceston Race 1 - The Mighty West

I'll try and keep these posted for a month.

Good Luck.

Just a question that intrigues me.
Why trial a system on this forum.?
What's the point?
Does it help the system's chances?
Is anyone going to support these selections from a trial?
Trial it for 12 months privately and then post selections in the event it's any good.

Imagele,

If I trial a system for 12 months and it is good I won't be posting the tips here I will be using it as per my last few systems. ( 2 other systems I use produce consistent profits).

Posting it here makes a slightly better test as it is public. By being public it is harder for me to tamper with the system and/or results. To me that is worthwhile for at least a month to see if the results are consistent.

As far as if people follow the tips, I realy don't care its up to you. I am just putting $5 on each tip as well while I trial the system.

Good Luck.

All,

Here are the results .... 2 scratchings today but I would expect some each day as I do the form analysis the night before. So from 3 races that is 2 winners and a second.

Murrary Bridge Race 13 - Mytilini Miss 2nd - $2.30
Murrary Bridge Race 3 - Hurricane Gaze WIN $2.00 / $1.30
Launceston Race 1 - The Mighty West WIN $3.20 / $1.80

Hawksberry Race 8 - Cascadia -- SCRATCHED
Murrary Bridge Race 8 - Go Harvey --- SCRATCHED

Races : 3
Wins : 2
Outlay : $30
Return : $52
Profit : $22

Hope you made some cash from it.

After looking at my account today I found I missed putting up here all the bets yesterday (I missed 1 ). I won't count it as it wasn't posted but I was happy to see it won paying $2.90.

If people are interested in how this system works I will give a bit of an overview of it without giving it all away. My main methods that I have been using are all centered on common sense rules. I don't think weight is a big factor, I don't think barrier position is a big factor. I do believe that conistency and fitness are very large factors. These selections look for consistent horses (placings and/or wins and beaten lengths) who appear to be fit ( running good times, being near the leader, finishing hard, etc ).
I don't take too much notice of the trainer or jockey either.

Its up to you whether you agree or disagree on the above but I find it works and makes a profit ( even if you get skinny odds sometimes).

Good Luck with it. I'll post my selections in the next hour or so after I place my bets.

All,

Here are the selections for today. I am very confident in the Mackay selections but not so sure on the Queanbeyan selection. Anyway we will see how it goes.
If I had to pick only 1 race to bet it would be Mackay Race 3.

Mackay Race 2 - Roses Of Jester
Mackay Race 3 - Middle East
Queanbeyan Race 4 - Jelani

Good Luck
