No use looking for it KV!

Hi KV!
Yup, it's gone with the wind.
Cheers

I'm speechless. Might as well be really, anything you say has a 50/50 chance of dissappearing anyway. I just thought how well we had conducted ourselves. Basic exchange of information, nothing really derogatory about any site, not really an opposition site that I'm aware of. Actually a thread with possible useful information exchanged by real people as opposed to made up duplicate personalities.
Reminds me of a letters to the editor column I used to write. I mean I used to write it. Real letters were too boring so I just made up some entertaining stuff. I guess that's what will be going on here soon because no real people will be wasting their time.

Sorry to say KV, but you may be right, more the pity, because this site used to be one of the most informative and useful forums. Now, if you are not interested in tipping competitions, (which I was early on, until an overbearing individual put me in my place , saying "I was just lucky"), there is hardly anything left.
I have seen quite a few good people leave.
Still, management must know what's best for them I suppose.
Incidentally, why do you want the margins etc. in the results? It's in the form files already, if you have them!
Email me if you like, I may be able to help you.

Good luck KV

I'll do that if I can find your email address. It's the only way people can exchange anything but sugar coated or meaningless information.
I can get results from another site which would attract asterisks if I wrote it but they are up to a week old by the time they are posted sometimes. I'm just looking for an economical way to get results with margins expeditiously (just used that word to see if it was close enough to get starred :)

You have to understand WHY it was deleted.

Going on previous reasons, you can pretty much ascertain that posting a commercial website address here, while not in direct competition with this site, gives it free advertising. The propun search engine optimization is such, that posting a web address or even using the word of the site gives that site free advertising.

This site is funded by subscriptions and advertising.

Advertisers will not pay, if others get free advertising by way of search engine optimization and forum discussions.

The bottom line is, you can't mention commercial websites unless they are paid advertisers here.

In addition there were in our opinion potentially defamatory comments made about a clearly identified product /after sales service which would be picked up by Search engines for anyone doing a search for that product.

Our search engine optimisation is one of the best around. It has not come cheap. For example, for a Google web search for betting tips - we currently rank number two of 8.6 million.

We have businesses paying us for links so their link is picked up by search engines. Why will businesses pay us if links which will be picked up by search engines can be posted for free all over the forum?

Get a life Chrome. Your stating the obvious and maybe getting a brown tongue in doing so. Management is handling this just fine [all by themselves].

Of course criticizing you is a sure way to a holiday as you work for the man. Still, it had to be said and if a holiday follows, so be it. 'Cookies' don't stop me accessing the site.

(Snipped usual stuff)

So Mr Mod...

if I was to write that .......was an absolutely terrific site for info.. that would be OK

waiting for the usual lame reason why it wont be tho....

Moderation on this site is poorly named.. It is not moderation at all but totally over the top censorship.. and at times too silly for words... In the end the only loser will be the site itself as people with a clue go elsewhere.. but hey the site wil still be ranked 2 out of 8 million... problem is no one will care..

Thank you for your responses CP and M3. Disappointing and frustrating but at least crystal clear.

I missed all the fun after my last post. Can't even guess what happened.
