After success with these last year i'll be giving it another go for this season. Last year i used a broad selection for bets and it will be refined this year, with the minimum bookie price now 20% higher than my rated price, as opposed to last year's 10% to qualify for a bet. Last year's POT using the 10% value criteria was 25%, however using 20% would give an instant increase to 62% POT. And of course the super five star ultimate specials (where the offered price is double my rated price) i made a 286% POT :p

I wouldnt normally start this early, but i couldn't resist, so here are the bets for round 2:

ROUND 2:

Raiders @ $2.50 (vs Panthers)
Broncos @ $2.15 (vs Roosters)
Titans @ $2.15 (vs Dragons)

Thanks Chuck. Keep up the good work and agree with you this week too. I am very very keen on Titans and really only think Storm and Cowboys are the short ones that will win - could easily come a cropper though (as has been known to happen).

ROUND 2:

Raiders @ $2.50 - WON


Unfortunately i made a mistake calculating the selections this week :( , and it turns out that both the Broncos and Titans were marginal NON-selections (despite being profitable). sorry about that :o

Cowboys @ $2.85 (vs Broncos)
Storm @ $1.80 (vs Roosters)
Bulldogs @ $2.06 (vs Tigers)

Arrrrrggggghhh i've done it again, for some weird reason when i went to put the selections in i did the Storm instead of the Raiders, dont how it happened. From now on i'll put assessed prices with the selections so it doesnt happen again :rolleyes:

Net Profit of 19% is ok but disappointing compared with last years results, lets hope it picks up!
