Auto Bot Laying
Does anyone one have a bot
my ? is with a bank large enough..how can one lose so base bet is $2 bank $20000 recovery 50% 0ver 2 bets let it run with any method pretty unlucky if one has a prob target ???.......... i know about 6 in a row i have had one and recovered you either do it or you run scared and pull the pin and never win any thoughts... |
The type of laying method used by member Mark (see thread Openers by Request) could be well suited by a BOT for laying. Or at least the market odds part of that method.
Provided the BOT was programmable and capable of taking odds from about 3 sources and doing the neccesary calculations it could work well. I am assuming the BOT has the capability of changing the staking rules where a recovery becomes needed. |
Not exactly sure where this thread is going but i have used a few different methods in making a bot mostly excel and an API betfair product, i have done some work with AHK and using com functions to control webpage input and plan to test it with TAB and bookies sites to see if i can automate some betting tasks.

I am a little unsure of what you meant in original post but pretty much anything you want can be done by a bot.
There are plentyof existing products (some for money, some free) and a couple of these allow you to automatic commands using VBA and excel. These are pretty good for the bot beginner and normally all have a free trial period. I'd recommend starting there to get some ideas. Personally my friend and I wrote our own bot because nothing on the marketplace did exactly what we wanted and we wanted full control over it. It was a long process as we could only do it after hours so if you go down this path you need to be committed, but if you have a unique idea it could be worth it. |
The Bot I use & recommend is BetBotPro.
For laying as well as backing. Aust , UK & US markets. Its easy to set up & use , unlike many of the others . It also has a recovery program in it that can do exactly what you are doing . There are other staking plans as well including the Maria staking plan. It has its own forum for registered users where ideas are shared. It also has a free trial. Cost 70 pounds. |

Recovering staking is quite risky, espeically for lay betting.
In the bets listed from yesterday there were 2 consecutive losing bets but it meant the stake had grown from 0.25 to 8.70...matched at 6.60 the total risk was $48.72. If that bet turned out to be a losing one then trouble is brewing...the next lay is over $50 meaning a risk of around $375 based on the average prices matched. And that's only 3 consecutive losing bets! I'd hate to see 4... Even a system with a 90% strike rate has a 25% chance of a losing run being 4 bets. That means, in theory, 1 in every 4 losing runs will hit 4. |
That's true if betting to recover 100% over 1 bet.
Very risky if bit 3 in a row which can & does happen. What works better, is target 120% Over 2-6 bets. e.g. 60% x 2bts or 40% x 3bts or 30% x 4bts or 24% x 5 bts or 20% x 6bts Using 6 cycles. That way it makes a profit over a series of successful bets & takes into account the commission as well. Of course the longer the bet sequence , the greater the chance of being bit again but less exposure each time we are bit. Bet ratio 1000/1 |
tried this last nite odds 6-8 any dogs uk and with out recovery got no where.
