Tipsters?

I am trialling a quick little system which takes the morning favourite if it is the same at the TAB Radio Tips favourite and it if is the same as the TAB Guest Tipsters favourite.

The only problem is that most tracks on most days do not have a Guest Tipster and so I am left with nothing to compare the 2 against.

Can anyone suggest another good tipster or site to use?

Another option could be to look at a set of free ratings such as Winner in 6. They are as good as any commercial ones, but free, which makes them better in my books.

Seems you ain't had enough after all!!

The only time Compulsive Gamblers have had enough , is when they have lost the lot.

Why not use the r+s shortest asessed price.

Cheers

Another option would be to take UniTab's 100 rater. They probably are the best free raters.

.....and then lay it.

You may like to try this different approach for fun & profit with minimised risk,
because if they both fall over all day , you still make a profit.

RULES
Target 2 horses a race

Make sure they are both $4.50 & less .( Important)

Lay one of the two horses at 1.5 units to fall over.

Back the other for 1.0 unit to win.

If both fall over , profit .5 unit.
with a free bet opportunity for the Back bet to win.

If Back bet wins , your in profit.

If lay bet wins instead of falling over for us , we make a smallish loss.

If you feel that you are hopeless at separating them , then use the tipsters top 3-4 selections to separate the two selections.

Example
Back 5.00 @ 4.90 horse.
Lay 7.50 @ 3.50 horse

If our Backed horse wins
Return 5.00x 4.90 =24.50
Ret 24.50 - O/L 5.00 = Profit +19.50
Plus the +7.50 from the Lay horse that fell over.
Total Profit +27.00

If they both fall over.
5.00 - 7.50 = Profit +2.50

If Lay horse gets up to win
7.50 x 2.5/1 (3.50) = loss -18.75
Plus 5.00 loss on Back bet
Total Liability loss -23.75

If you don't hit the wrong one all day , one should do well.

Tipster Site
If you want more tipsters to use , one could use the tipsters on the SKY racing site.
They are just as good as anyone else because they are at the track every single day and one would like to think that one would develop a feel for their job after doing it 8 hours a day, every day.
But some days you would have to question that.

The long term SR of the 100ptr winning if its also the top Radio TAB selection is

33% with a LOT of -15% using UniTAB prices.

If its the Fav & Radio Tipsters top selection
the SR is approx 38%
With a -10% LOT uniTAB prices.

This would be greatly improved on if using Betfair prices.

Its very difficult to show a profit at level stakes with that idea but at least you wont loose much.

If you wont a low risk staking plan for chasing Favs then use the.
6 Block Staking Plan
Its headed up as such on this site.
Its very good on the right selections.

One filter I use is 100 ptr and not Selected in Radio first 3 TAB selections.

Improves your av. dividend, to help you ride out that inevitable period
