Lohnro
Inspired by pharfromoz and his High Chaparral thread, I'm going to attempt to bring you a Lohnro thread in the hope of finding a steady stream of winners.
Wed and Saturday this week Lohnro had 5 out of 9 winners for a very tidy P.O.T. Well the first day of operation 'track Lohnro' was interesting to say the least. My top pick Screen decided to run like the proverbial mule, whereas Damascene almost stole the chocolates at over 10/1, missing out by the shortest of margins.
Wrap up Screen - Ran over 4 lengths last - time for a spell Damascene - the race was run in class record time and only ran a 0.1 length second. FOLLOW!! Ceramic - ran a reasonable 3rd, though beaten 6 lengths Nosugar - outclassed, look for it next prep in restricted 72 grade or thereabouts. There were two placings for a 20% P.O.T. for the place. Had Damascene got the nose in front it would have been a very nice start to proceedings. Results: Win Out 4 In 0 P/L - 4 Place Out 4 In 4.8 P/L +.8 Two shoes Lohnro Tips Out 1 In 0 P/L - 1 |

WHAT A TREAT!!!
Well there you go......
What a treat gets up in a weakish maiden, albeit by 1 1/2 lengths. Paid $15.40 and Unitab and I didn't have a bean on it. There was an interesting move putting Moor onboard after S Rawiller rode it first start. The Lohnro's are back in profit. I'll do all the sums after Sunday, when there are a stack of Lohnro's running. One point to note: We've seen 3 or them improve markedly after their first start (between 6 and 9 lengths) and those horses being Damascene, Ceramis and now What a treat. Hope you're having a good day's punting. I'm getting that excited feeling thinking about another Saturday. Some decent races at Doomben and Randwick. Two Shoes |

Deer Valley got up yesterday posting a .10 loss for Lohnro on the day if betting with Unitab. Me thinks you could have found better than $2.90 if you spent a little time shopping. I'll be sticking with Unitab prices to show the P/L overall.
Todays runners are: KONIGSSEE ****: Lorelei Cranbourne Race 4 at 02:45 Peter Snowden Mark Zahra Might pay to forgive it's last run as its 2 previous would have it right in this. Longshot Tri value injector - no.11 for 2nd and 3rd ROWLAND ****: Paris in the Fall Cranbourne Race 4 at 02:45 Robbie Laing Matthew Allen Is first up for 33 weeks. Has the best rated run at 1600m by my ratings however that was 2nd up last prep. Currently around $30 in early markets. RED PIXIE ****: Long Stem Red Hawkesbury Race 3 at 02:20 Peter Snowden Joshua Parr Will start favourite. Has been consistent and you probably won't get more than $2-2.50 win. SANGFROID ****: Preserve Hawkesbury Race 4 at 02:55 Peter Snowden Joshua Parr Is first up for 21 weeks. WON first up after 20 weeks last prep. Main Danger is the 1 who has consistent form. DOMARGO ****: Life is Beautiful Hawkesbury Race 5 at 03:30 Bart Cummings Tommy Berry (a0) Won first up and has been freshened. That was its first win and maybe Bart has figured the horse out now? Ratings have its last start win in the top 4 with no's 4,8 and 9 which are predictably, the next 3 in the market. Hopefully we'll get a winner to keep the Lohnro ledger into positive territory. Two Shoes Tip SANGFROID - with a saver on no.1. Have a great Sunday. Two Shoes |
Rowland, Rowland, Rowland......
The Lohnro freight train rolled on today with Rowland saluting at $15.30 on Uni tab. A monster training performance from Laing to have Rowland primed for a first up assault.
Red Pixie grabbed the cash at skinny odds to make it another profitable day for the Lohnro clan. The numbers will be crunched tomorrow but it's a healthy P.O.T. for the first week of runners. Mondays runners are: PARKOUR ****: Coat Bairnsdale Race 8 at 07:10 Peter G Moody Jason Benbow Won first up at Bairnsdale last prep. Is first up today at Bairnsdale. Moody trained. What did Shirley Bassey sing....."just another case of History repeating".......Has barrier 15 but can lead and go on with it. Don't think the price will be much over $3 though. LONROSE ****: Southern Rose Cessnock Race 2 at 01:58 Dianne Lumsden Vicky Schubert (a0) Looks a pretty ordinary type. My ratings have it way down in the betting. Record so far is 9 starts for a 2.3 length second in a maiden at Taree and a 5.4 length third at Musswellbrook. Hard to get enthused..... An interesting tale so far. These Lohnro's seem to be something else. Firing out winners everywhere. I truly hope that I can find a profitable angle for all of us through this research. So far it's as easy as backing every runner. The saga continues. Two Shoes |

Summarise
One runner today, the Snowden trained Summarise. It was scratched last week due to a track downgrade. It's in a race with lots of first starters. On ratings its two previous runs have the horses who have raced previously covered so any danger would appear to be from one of the first starter brigade.
Summarise is favourite in the early markets. Unfortunately has drwan barrier 17. Hopefully Zahra can weave some magic and get him home. SUMMARISE ****: Material Girl Seymour Race 2 at 01:30 Peter Snowden Mark Zahra Two Shoes |

Busy period at the minute as you probably all can imagine. Two shoes |
One third from the four runners yesterday. It would appear that there is a real chance with Parkour running today after being scratched due to a wide barrier a few days back.
Mitchener **** Ottavia Ballarat race 4 Danny O'Brien Damien Oliver Would win this on its run 3 starts back in a Moonee Valley listed race, however has not run up to that standard in two runs this prep. Has Oli on board which is a good sign. Parkour **** Coat Ballarat race 5 Peter Moody Steven Arnold Right in this. Barrier 2 and the Moody polish. Best of luck!! Two shoes |
Mitchener to the rescue
Paying 5.40 for the win, Mitchener did the right thing and saluted on Christmas Eve.
Parkour finished 3.4 lengths off the pace. Runners for Boxing Day are: Rain in Africa**** Rainshine Caulfield Race 8 Colin Little Glen Boss Second up over 1400m. Won over this distance last prep. Didn't flatter first up. Needs a dry surface. Lohnroson**** Palme D'Or Newcastle Race 2 John O'Shea Josh Adams (a2) Hasn't raced for over a year. Some handy form at Canterbury in it's previous 3 runs and by my ratings has easily the best previous form. Has had two trials leading into this. Is it fit enough? Tromso**** Feelers Randwick Race 2 Chris Waller Rod Quinn A win and a second placing from 3 starts. Is fit and in form. In a very competitive race. Hope everyone is full of christmas cheer and indulged with family and friends on Xmas day. I hope the Lohnro troupe can provide more Xmas cheer. Two Shoes |
Just one runner today with No Sugar representing the Lohnro clan.
NO SUGAR******** Latte BENDIGO Race 7 Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra Andrew Mallyon Excellent run last start in a 100k Mares Hcp at Moonee valley where she ran into some trouble, according to racenet 'checked heels passing 600m, with cover on turn & into clear top strt. One 3rd to Parkour yesterday was all that the Lohnro troupe could muster. Katisam started at over 50/1 so was probably never any chance at all and looks like it doesn't have much of a future at the moment. Ellohnro didn't place and looks country class at best.
One runner today 12/02/10: EYE OF BRAHMA ****: Roedean Canterbury Race 6 at 05:01 Gai Waterhouse Blake Shinn Career:4-0-2-1 $12,110 Dist:2-0-1-0 Track:2-0-0-1 T/D:1-0-0-0 Good:1-0-0-0 Dead:1-0-1-0 Slow:1-0-0-1 Heavy:1-0-1-0 1st-up:2-0-1-0 2nd-up:1-0-1-0 Lots of places so far. inner sanctum .....
Denman is just so gorgeous (just like a girl eh) Saw him have a shower as it was pretty hot, and he was nibbleing the strappers hat, then rested his head on his shoulders, just so relaxed, so beautiful, so much like his Dad, he even did the Stop...look around bit... the strapper couldnt move him in the mounting yard until HE was ready to go , after everyone looked at him. It was greyt, when he won everyone clapped him, and again when he came back, it was just terrific to be there... Couldnt believe when McEvoy came out, the silks looked like they had just come out of the suitcase, there were creases everywhere !!! They have enough $$$ to throw them away (ha ha) and have new silks every race !!! I |
More apologies

Sainthood does the job at $21.80!!!!!
Don't get me wrong I'm no one to cry, however I must admit to having a little tear form in the corner of my eye as I checked the results from Canberra a minute ago!!
Sainthood, trained by Rick Worthington and ridden by Nathan Berry won by a solid length from one of the horses I backed Bay Window......what does Homer say? DOH!!!
