I expect a 90% strike rate in my betting choices here.

The bets will start lower down the page. I am making a fresh start.

OI Mr K
Nice new thread eh
Promised myself I wouldnt do this but I had a bet in europe again (only a little one)
AC/INTER/JUVE @4.20
also had another little bet but ill edit it in tommorrow

Jack Daniels 27th October 2004 10:38 PM

Cricket: Aust.. win 1.95 WON
Moto GP: Rossi. win 1.75 WON
Soccer: Man U.. win 1.75 LOST
Soccer: Chelsea win 1.40 WON
Soccer: L/Pool. win 1.82 LOST
RLeague: Aust.. win 1.42 WON
------------------------
**Total Multi Bet: 21.60
------------------------

I also took the above bet without Rossi to win the Moto GP and substituted Australia to beat Great Britan in the League test match with Australia to beat Great Britan -6.5.

Cricket: Aust.. win 1.95 WON
Soccer: Man U.. win 1.75 LOST
Soccer: Chelsea win 1.40 WON
Soccer: L/Pool. win 1.82 LOST
RLeague: Aust. -6.5 1.85 LOST
------------------------
**Total Multi Bet: 16.08
------------------------

Here is another one I put on earlier today:

Cricket: Aust.. win 1.95 WON
Soccer: Brescia win 1.75 LOST
Soccer: Lazio.. win 1.70 WON
Soccer: Palermo win 1.62 LOST
Soccer: Juvents win 1.67 WON
RLeague: Aust. -6.5 1.85 LOST
------------------------
**Total Multi Bet: 29.03
------------------------

Lots of legs easy to complicate things, I know. But when they come off they are usually worth the losses you incur during the in between. There will be a number of shorter leg bets for me before the week is out.

Good luck to you all this week. God knows I need some after last weeks effort.

Down the drain again. Sigh.

Dont know about moto gps but your second ones lookin good

Floydyboy 28th October 2004 05:40 AM

Mr K
I was reading around last night and i found this
QUOTE
Palermo have 5 first teamers out of this clash and Livorno will fight like bunch of donkeys here..Palermo have drawed three times against giant donkeys like JUVE,ROMA and A.C MILAN away, but now they got ae little Livorno against them and maybe that 5 men missing could effect some on their play and also three away draws against those giants could give them some good feeling too much against hungry Livorno side..

1-2 for Livorno
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
(see earlier thread)
I didnt want to say anything about it at the time because I didnt want to seem like the profit od doom once youd already had your bets ...anyway Inter let me down in my accum but I took the ************ 1-2 LIVORNO -CORRECT SCORE @27.00

i cant win when i take bet and when i dont i win sux big time

moeee 28th October 2004 10:16 AM

Farout fantasy.I think we tend to pick differently when we are going to put money on our selections.
And also pick differently according to whether we were winning or losing at the time of making the selection.

I follow the Moto GP's pretty closely. Not that I am an expert when it comes to beting on it or anything. I usually wait till after the first round of free practice and check what the weather is going to be like for the race etc.

Either way I think Rossi can win in Valencia this weekend. It is going to be so good to see Rossi and Yamaha win this years world champs.

Floydyboy 28th October 2004 10:28 AM

That one on the aussies-6.5 is that for sat against the poms

knowledge 28th October 2004 04:13 PM

When I read the results of my bets this morning I felt disappointed and ashamed. I am sorry for anyone who bet on those and I assure you I will be more clinical from now on. Serie A is proving to be surprising this season with many upsets. I will restrict myself in future.

Basketball... Wildcats were pathetic. Hawks were too good.. what more can be said.

I will restart the streak, the first post can be only used as a reminder to me not to get ahead of myself. To get the streak started, here is one bet.

Football
Juventus ($1.60) to beat AS Roma.

[ This Message was edited by: knowledge on 2004-10-28 17:22 ]

Beljulian 28th October 2004 11:41 PM

These things happen. The Hawks came out firing and the Wildcats were executing poorly after their eleven day layoff. With the benefit of hindsight the eleven day break did more harm than good.

Yeah, sure is. Probably a better bet to take Aust to WIN though. As the Poms season has only just finished and Aust will be without D.Lockyer and C.Fitzgibbon is doubtful. Having said that Australia has had a couple of good lead up matches against NZ. So I think we can win by more than 6.5. I am hoping for a dry game though.

Floydyboy 29th October 2004 09:46 AM

I wont be getting on at silly prices ....I was just curious cos they had a match the other night against a combined side of some sort It wasnt the test side but the fringe players I wasnt sure whether youd bet on that .I backed em last year when they played over there and they only just done enough in that series ,,,,,, I believe That we dont have the superiority that we had a few years ago teams arent as intimidated as they were (league and cricket)anyway thats just my opinion ....Pleased as punch about em stickin it to the indians over there though

Jack Daniels 29th October 2004 10:08 AM

The game the other night was a combined ANZAC side. We played Cumbria and flogged them 64 - 12. Didn't have a punt on it though.

I agree the distance between these three sides has reduced significantly over the past three to four years. Australia are no longer the certainties they used to be. I think it has a lot to do with the quality of players we export to the UK and the Warriors side playing in the NRL. It is good to see the international competition a closer than it used to be.

Inter might be a good bet for the third leg of my multi Ill look into it

knowledge 29th October 2004 10:41 PM

why am I incorrigible? :???:

I follow Inter very closely and I have a number of reasons for choosing them as my shoe-in. I'm not going to go into too much detail, but visit http://www.inter.it/en and you may get a better understanding.

Floydyboy 29th October 2004 10:49 PM

good night.

Floydyboy 29th October 2004 10:58 PM

I just went to the site was it the reports you wanted me to read or should i go somewhere specific ............do you golf or have interest in it

knowledge 29th October 2004 11:02 PM

golf..it's nice to play occasionally. I never bet on it, why?

this link is quite assuring. An ex-Lazio player's comments. There are other reasons why Inter will win. but this link may interest you.

Floydyboy 29th October 2004 11:21 PM

Its not easy to win the same golfers dont win week in week out i lok at a tipping site who usually throw up 3 selections and they have had some good winners and top five selections winners can pay up to 40 or even more Ill give you the site and ya can do as you wish
http://www.tour-tips.com/index.htm theyve got a section that shows their tipping record
I normally prefer the top five option and its good cos if your choice is anywhere near the top it gives you an interest for 4 days anyway enough waffle Ill let ya get to bed if ya haventalready gorn

I read that Inter report first time round theyve got the attitude right
