My original bets were to be Break the Barrier $200 win and Pencelaron $200 win,but when I tried to post those bets my stupid computer froze on me.Luckily I have a good mate here who can fix these things,but by the time he fixed it both had run and won!!!!Couldn't believe the div on BTB,backed it last start and backed it yesterday thru my phone account.Guess the Beadman factor with Kincharm(who I gave no hope)caused the good price about the winner.

All hells breaking loose here in Bainsdale area [East Gippsland Vic.]. It's been like 9pm. at night since about 1pm. with a a dark rich red sky and the town as black as night. We are under a fire ember storm at the moment with 80k winds fanning a 300k fire front!

Licola, Red Gum plains, Dargo [God, please save the Dargo pub], Heyfield and numerous other small towns are really up against it. We have blocked off the roof gutters and filled them with water. Lots of ambulances leaving with many of the elderly from the nursing home suffering breathing problems.

It's surreal on the local ABC radio: Cricket/firereports/cricket/fire/cricket/fire. Now it's just: 'fire/fire/fire' reports. Where it's heading, where it's jumped the containment lines and where it's just gone through .... 'get out/stay/ get out/ if your not staying get out now'!

And summer here has just started.

Finally a cool change and a little rain. I fire fighter dead and about a dozen properties gone in this area last night [but the Dargo Pub is still standing].

Looks like nearly everyone here is saving all their bucks to bet with tomorrow.

A bit peeved at uni-tab odds. They are consistently lower than STAB. 2nd. time this week I've lost more than a $1 on a reasonably short price winner.
