Can I use TAB OZBET as I cant find the footy bets like doubles or trebles etc on ias or sportingbet or can any1 tell me how I find the novelty bets?

With multis like doubles and trebles, you simply create your own multis by picking the teams or options you want and just multiplying the prices together.

Regarding novelty bets, the 3 bookmakers do sometimes put up things like most goals, most disposals, first scorer etc. Sportodds have some extra bets under 'More bets' like head to heads between certain players and under or over the total score.

Sorry Mr J, but have you caught up with what we're doing regarding $100 bets? As of April 1st, everyone in the comp was entitled to have one 'free' $100 bet. It doesn't come off your balance. Apart from those free bets, all other bets still have a limit of $50 on them.

So, in other words, if this was your free bet, than your balance stays at $456 and if it wasn't, then you could only bet $50, so your balance would be $406.

Here are the rules regarding these 'free' $100 bets:

'FREE' $100 BETS
From April 1st, everyone that's entered the Punter's comp is entitled to make one $100 bet which doesn't come off their balance. You can use this free bet whenever you like. You can use it as soon as you get it, or you can save it up to use later in the comp. It's up to you. The same will also happen on June 1st and August 1st and there will also be 2 free bets to be used on the AFL or NRL Grand Finals. So, anybody that's still alive in the comp to the end will have had 5 free $100 bets. These bets aren't counted as part of your regular 50-200 bets throughout the competition.

You were on $571 last week and this week you've had 2 losing $20 bets and the $100 free bet which is still undecided. That equals $531 so far.

Well, if you remember, when you wanted to use your free bet, you were a day too early, so I couldn't accept that bet. In that post you gave out West Coast as $1.60. On the Friday, you simply told me to put you down for the same bet, so that's what I did. I put the West Coast down as $1.60. If they had gone out to $1.65 by that stage then you should have told me. Using the dividend of $1.60, then $460 is certainly right. :)

Yeah, I guess I can do that. But it might take a few trips to the toilet though. :) I haven't been working it out that way so far, so I'll have to go right back to the very beginning of the comp and go through over 40 pages and 200 bets again.

No, I think we'll be alright like this. I think it's good that we can put all our comments on here and discuss all the bets we make. I'm the only one that has to worry about everybody else's tips, so you shouldn't find it too tricky. Why not simply keep a notebook or something handy so that you can write down your position at the end of the each round and you can also write down the details of all of the bets you make when you make them. Then you won't have to go back through 7 or 8 pages of posts to find what you've tipped. :)
