crash 11th July 2009 03:20 PM

Nice going with Lilleelavee Mav. Couldn't get a better win.

Too bad the race wasn't in the comp. :-)

Mr ed 11th July 2009 03:39 PM

Lovely work there Mav, hope you unloaded plenty of your winnings from Lillee onto Voice Commander. Here's hoping for 3 from 3 from you @ the Ba!

Thanks Guys ,,yep won a stack !! my usual lucky throw the dart job that seems to come up just when i need it :)

Really liked the change in Jockey as i think she needed a quality stronger rider on board ,,also she didnt run out the distance last start and i liked the drop to 1100mm

Voice Commander the best of the day i thought ,, ,

Also got something on Stage shaker today (onalar during the week) and a some good exotics ,,

and to top it off had Ponting top scorer in the test ,,(love to see his average in the first innings in a series) (can you look into that sportz ??)

hoping for a magical day if First Option gets up :)

maverick1993 11th July 2009 04:54 PM

no miracle ,, anything that could go wrong did :) anyway we can'ts be greedy ,,but i am taking on Husta LA Vista in the next ,,i think Seconde is better value ,,

hope you all had a good one :)

rabbitz 11th July 2009 06:57 PM

Again Mavs its all been said but we were alll over Lillee at my local
many boisterous beers later
Cheers

PS Got 177-1 on First option fixed not to be
LOL

luv2bet 13th July 2009 01:01 PM

musselbrook
race 5 pleasant guest
race 8 ***mighty obvious, should be winning against this lot

crash 13th July 2009 04:09 PM

Geez I'm sick of these all over heavy tracks. Is there no let up? Isn't there supposed to be drought still happening? Echuca heavy 10 today. Supposed to be in drought country. Good for the [non-punting] farmers anyway I guess.

crash 14th July 2009 10:23 AM

Well at least Townsville is a good track today.

Not that familiar with this venue but I'll have go at a few tips there:

r5/6 Lesner
r6 Quin:
7 Two Tweny Swift
15 Beautiful Mary [win maybe?]
16 Devi Garh
r7/7 Starry Dancer
r8/11 Headlight [e/w]

Mr ed 14th July 2009 10:36 PM

Allanthus tomorrow should go well at Sale (proviso of no worse then dead). He was very good in a much stronger race at Flem last time out against Starkron, he was coming again on the line and looked strong in the run-on, was matching strides with Laspiel at equal weights, Laspiel the start before beat Red First easily at Morphettville carrying 4.5kg more than it. Red First will likely be under $10 in tomorrows race. Star Pirate has a turn of foot unlike most of these and is pretty adaptable so looks a BIG danger, but he's been racing in much weaker class.

Allanthus is bit of a one-pacer and goes up a fair way in distance tomorrow, which should suit (if it's not too wet), and with Dunn on from (3) should be strong at the end.

Cheers Ed.

luv2bet 15th July 2009 04:45 PM

Thats what we're talkin about ED. just logged on and no kudos!!!

I was doin the form on you ed, after such a big lay off, thought you might need a few runs, but luckily i noticed a bit of first up form and tips well fresh, so had a bit on. didnt see the run but payed very nicely.
Well done ed, very well spotted...

luv2bet 15th July 2009 04:47 PM

i hope you still backed it ed being a slow track!!!!

Mr ed 15th July 2009 04:57 PM

Cheers mate, i'm glad you had a win. I halved my bet after seeing it as a slow track, however still collected more then i would've expected with my full bet, was very happy with the price!

Let's hope we can steer clear of that second-up syndrome!

Cheers Ed

maverick1993 15th July 2009 05:16 PM

Well done ED !!! back not 5 minutes and your picking double figure winners straight off the bat !! legend !!

I missed it though :( but i'll be sure to check the site alittle more now your back in town ..

Had an e/w today on Forestreno ,,paid ok the place but how good is this Battlefield ?? going places this thing ..

oh ,,and keep an eye out on my mate Mr Ivo Fry up in townsville ,,can ride some winners this bloke..Elegant Roi yesterday (how Simplest with 62kgs was fav i'll never know)

Anyway Keep up the winners Ed :)

maverick1993 15th July 2009 09:17 PM

a few i'm looking at tomorrow ,,
Rocky
Grand Vargue amd Sleekuponem
at Grafton
Sequent and in the Cup, Come On Cugat will give a bit of cheek ..

Great Origin :) the vid ref / promoters (one and the same) got what they wanted ,, 8 point try ?? they tried to do the same in the 2nd but NSW played to poorly ..bring back the biff !! awesome stuff ..

Good luck :)

Mr ed 15th July 2009 10:44 PM

Hey Mav, yeh was a good game, that wasn't even a try let alone an 8 pointer! (Blues did deserve to win though) Loved the biffo at the end, can't believe they still get away with that stuff!

Like a maiden tomorrow at Ballarat in Darbyton, he missed the kick last start at Sale, but raced beautifully, was taken very wide and looked to be cruising but his condition just gave way the last bit. Blistered was in the same race and actually beat it home, but had an easier run and hasn't won in 13 starts!

Even Adam has been hitting the line well on heavy tracks, but will get back in what looks to be a very slowly run race tomorrow (a heavy track would put him right in it with the 4kg claim), predict Tescani and Master Who getting a picnic up front. Hoping Yendall will urge Darbyton early and push up to gain a position in the first half from (8).

He looks a real little pro this guy, will be fitter, and looks very tough to hold out. Hope the Hayes factor doesn't see the odds to skinny.

Cheers Ed.

allen1 16th July 2009 05:40 AM

Did you (Luv2) have a dollar on Roslotta yesterday.

Allen

Mr ed 16th July 2009 02:42 PM

Sorry guy's, Darbyton didn't look to handle the going at all, was losing ground from the time they jumped! Thought i had my bet covered with a saver on Even Adam due to the heavy track, but his odds were smashed late, so ended up a little behind, no disaster though.

Cheers ED.

No luck today ,,both Sleekuponem and Come on Cugat both finished 4th at odds,,,Grand Vargue was surprisingly short ,,(not my money) and Sequent is still yet to finish ..

crash 16th July 2009 05:22 PM

There still out looking for Sequent!

Mr ed 16th July 2009 09:14 PM

Not a big fan of all these wet tracks, actually i wouldn't mind them if i knew about them before making selections!

Tomorrow @ Wodonga Poacher's Quest should be good value. Had a million starts, but a change of stable last start and put in a really good run this t/d in a handy field beaten by all the way leader College King. She peeled out and sprinted well, Rawiller eased her down late but held second comfortably. Before that had done nothing for ages.

Testatiga will likely be odds-on and has been racing very solidly against infinately better class then these. But he is an on pace horse rising 500m from (10) and there are a couple here that look to apply pressure also drawn wide, namely Sckellyton (11), who walked in front last start and had all favours, and Night Fall (7) who doesn't look a chance, but could really nuisance these other two.

Not a fan of the fact that S Rawiller is on, as her s/r is terrible, and she prob won't be able to claim any of her allowed (2kg) due to her weight. But hoping Poacher's Quest has turned a corner with the new stable, and should be able to get a lovely run off the speed from (2).

Sorry for the long winded msg. I get bored sometimes, lol.

Cheers ED.

I did allen but not a full stake! I thought of this forum when it won.
very nice price wasnt it?
got a super special for saturday at nice odds weather permitting, cant wait.

hey mav, the chocky is now with trevor bailey and is back on track after lets just say,, not being right!! it will be racing next saturday over 1050 1 metro win or 1350 handicap. we have lowered the bar and should be getting some results on the board shortly. hopefully some upside to come from some 'indifferent' runs.
Dont like to bag jockeys, but (as x would say) a certain sydney hoop is riding like a 4kg claimer and i dont care how much i like the horse will not back him at any time in the future. I never would believed that a senior jockey could slaughter so many horses that are right in the market....
I should of elimated selections with him on when i first suspected he was an inconsistent dud 6 months ago.. not hard to work out who..
talking through my pocket..

pediruki will go well in the sprint in darwin saturday, dont think we will get the 20s of last start but can go on with it.

allen1 17th July 2009 06:20 AM

Thanks

I thought you would of.
I had a couple dollars on it.

charjon 17th July 2009 08:53 AM

brissie
Br3 , 2 Deacon ,,,always lets me down but he has everything to suit here ,,unlucky last start and i like Stathi on him ,,,

Br4, 3 Frozone ,,good horse this ,,gets back so Colless can just find a spot for him to slot into ,,its a good starting position so he should be right..

Br6 , 4 Albert the Fat ,,love this horse ,,just wasnt totally right last prep and they had to i suppose see how far he could run ,,flying in work and should be to good,,,Charming Rogue / Heart of the Citi to finish off the tri,,

Br7, 4 Rightson ,,on th better surface finally gets his chance,,i dont think hes going that badly ,,and he should be running on at odds,,

Br8, 4 SamtheFlirt ,,another at odds ,,will get back anyway so the barrier isnt a concern,,good tempo in this so hes a chance to run over them late..

hi all,
couldnt be happier with the chocky. trevor has done very little work with it, kept it nice and fresh. Is a lot happier where it is now and should be running a big race. plenty of speed in the race and should get a nice run off the pace..

After leading nicely [33/1], Sin no more stopped dead and left the race and was led off the track by the dismounted Jock. Must have broken down I think [?]
