R1 -
A stack of speed in this , Daunting Lad from the alley will possie up behind them , General Secretary at the huge odds will also get the good run and
is up to these , Those from the back Bocuse , Warrior Girl and Eire of Magic should all get their chance. Looks a great exotics race .
R2 -
Backed Kanzan last start and just missed, today she'd be on the outside of horses and just off the speed. Looks a real good chance . pertinence is great form and shouldn't be ignored , she'll get the gun run while the fancies will be scouting wide with there runs. Deer Valley will have Kanzan to track and Jerezania will be running on but suited probably more across the road.
the New Zealander Pennachhio doesn't look hopeless but its
hard to line up the form.
R3 -
Hard to go past Graceful Anna , but it won't be easy , Stryker did very well last start and shouldnt have a problem getting over from the alley. Launay will get a nice run , A couple of roughies to put in the exotics are Lochiel amd Captain Clayton ,i like both of these horses but this isnt there target race , still capapble of running into places.
R4 -
Loved Dariana's win the other day , looks a real good horse , just needs only a little bit of luck to beat these.
R5 - Buffering and Adebesi the likely quiny but Jesses Girl the one that can upset them at odds.
R6 - Not alot of speed in this , Exeltastic could dictate with only the talented Rothesay the danger.
R7 - I'm on the Rock , Ollie the key here
R8 - Beaded just looks to good , Plain Magic the only danger.

Where were the backmarkers Brissie r1 ?? nice odds General Secretary but i have to admit Paprika was awful at the Coast and even looked ordinary and so i mis rated her..

Isn't Freedman on Sky having a shocker ?? mis pronounces Paprika , gets the race caller at newcastle wrong , gets the race meet in Sydney wrong , and didnt realise the track at the coast track was slow and todays track is almost good could have something to do with Paprika's improved performance.

Just watched the steeplechase at Terapa , just awful :(

Don't mind Rare Diamond in the next

Wealth Princess was weak last start when Seen Im came back to beat her (but Seen Im loves the wet) looks like she wanted the good track , how good was Jerezana , this horse will love Eagle Farm..

I'm fairly keen on Get Up Jude in Sydney. Worried about a lack of pace though. Common Objective could grind them into the ground again.

confident veewap in the next , need the win , having a shocker in Melbourne

another i have in the book is Our larrikin at belmont , worth an e/w ticket as he flew home last start,,will need some luck but the odds are good.

Hard work today but a few good results in brissie ,,,no fairytale like last week but a positive result.

Race 1,
A hard race to rate , thought at value Little Stranger could run well at odds , the horse will get the good run and is set to peak , raced well in this race i think last year . Shuffle the Cash will be about midfield and even though hes been mixing his distances a good chance.Mirassalo can get the gun run here , i'm not sure yet classs wise but the horse will get all the favours. Hadaaf and Rightson both look like getting wide runs and Pepperwood looked ordinary last start. Little Stranger e/w and box your trifectas..

Race 2.
Sarge in Charge gets his chance , was wishing for a good track for Swiss Rose , this horse can run the time to beat these
but needs the firmer footing.

Race 3.
Forestreno was good last start , gets good speed here and can catch the lot of them but it cant be to wet..i think the rain has come so the Sixties up on the pace likes the wet and is going very well.

Race 5.
Kutchinsky looked the goods last start , i think this horse can go on with it.

Race 6.
If it keeps raining Hissing Sid will shorten , the 5's is good value.
Fulllmonti the danger after A huge run last start , peaking now.

Race 7,
Ortensia the standout for me , the wet track suits , she'll be wide and thats ok that time of day. Phelan Ready a place chance now if it continues to rain.

Race 8,
Age of heroes , Gundy Son and Mr Unforgettable , theres your trifecta.

Race 1,
Good form around Jackpot and the horse again looks like getting it
easy in front with no weight. My Limit back to the track he performs
best at. Both should be good odds in an open race.

Race 2,
Secrets Untold couldnt be placed any better but he does have the
awkward barrier and is alittle unders.Thought Humma
could run well at odds , Jazz Heart has the same form lines as Jackpot and gets the cosy run.At the 9's hes very nice e.w value.

Race 3.
A funny race to work out the Speed map .
illuminates , Happy Hippy , Jerezanna , Wealth princess , Flying Tessie are
all get back horses . Set for fame will be on the speed (if there is any).
I think Jerezana a future star , watch her next prep.
Illuminates the class ,Happy Hippy awesome last start
against the boys and can take a more forward position.
Hippy is the better value at the moment but i couldnt not
back Jerezana after her last run. She'll love Ef . Back them both.

Race 4,
jesse's Girl suited here, 6's are ok , I wouldnt
be leaving out Fashion , Connors knows a thing or 2 about
2 year olds and thinks highly of this horse.
The better surface might be just what this horse needs
3 starts ago was only a length behind Skilled.

Race 5,
Latin News should be way to good for these ,
Anything could fill the places here , Locheil if the track surface
is firmish.

Race 6,
How awfull is this race , I thought Pagan princess did
ok last start but hes way shorter than i expected.
Newport at 20's is capable of improvement but so are just
about the whole top 5 , I can't have
Triple Honour here at Ef 2200 its only 200 more than last start
but it wont feel like it half way down that straight.
I'll settle on Ekstreme who finished the race off nicely last
start and will run out the distance.

Race 7,
Fairy Oak is at the 9's and bred to run the distance. Darianna the other
to consider, i dont rate anything else in the race.

Race 8,
Adhashim has hardly been talked about but you cant argue
his consistancy , he'll get the good run aswell.
The Jackal races well at this track and the inside
barrier plus the nose roll might do the trick and
keep him more relaxed. Both these horses are
at the double figure odds.

These are my best today:

Race 2 - Secrets Untold looks the goods to me with the form around Beaded. Doesn't seem to win by much so will give backers a thrill if he can get up.

Race 3 - I like Wealth Princess to do the job again in Race 3. Went straight past Jerezana last week and should do the same today.

Race 7 - I too like Fairy Oak and hope the cards fall her way. If Moody and Nolen are convinced she'll run out a strong 2400m, I'd like to see her sent to the front early so she's in the firing line.

Race 8 - I'm very excited to watch the Stradbroke lead up runs. I'm hoping Graceful Anna can step up to the mark as she's a favourite of mine. Border Rebel is an interesting one, also a favourite and then there's the improving Stryker, has been super consistent of late. Catapulted, and Maverick's tips Ahdashim and The Jackal are right in it also.

Yup I was on Jackpot/ML in the first as well. Chucked in Zevada for a quinny but TE ruined that:(

it was a good run but that Armstrong Jones was a pest , My limit was unlucky and probably should have won easily.

theres going to be some hard luck stories today , big fields , good track , pace on , Jazz Heart had something to offer but had no room , thought Secrets untold disappointing.

just got the tri in the second, Secrets untold & the two kiwis for 1st and 2nd, the field for third - great start to the day, couldnt believe what it paid!!!

I like Ekstreme in the 6th as probably my best today

My best Set for Fame just got up:)

Acquired killed my trifecta , i needed her to run 3rd ,
loved Jerezana's run again , the race panned out well for the on pace runner as there wasnt a stack of speed and all the fancies were back markers .
Happy hippy a better horse out the back but in todays race you cant blame the jock for being more positive,

Nice ride by the Pumper , used all his experience but i think he had jesse covered anyway.

Isnt Freedman on Sky hopeless , kept saying Smokin Joey (4th) was the other horse in the protest but i'm sure it was the 5th place Adebisi and Seamer that was protesting.

ouch ,took on triple Honour and got my ass kicked , what an awful bunch of donkeys those horses are.
I've had one winner all day and struggling , will need to finish strongly :)

wow talk about hard luck stories , Fairy Oak ?? was in a heap of traffic but still didn't finish all that well..
thank god i'm not at the track today , i'd be hitchhiking home :)

Red buttons would have given me cab fare home , and if Bridgstone wins later on i might be able to afford a six pack to drown my sorrows :)

A few horses on the early warning radar ,
Forestreno , Our Lukas , Fulmonti , Fashion , Rocket to Rio

Yep Fulmonti or Larry in the Cup IMO.

Race 1,
Ardeche did it very well on debut last start and you should get e/w ods but its a tough race to start off with.

Race 2.
First Command on paper just looks way to good for these ,
the barrier isnt fanstastic and hes also pretty short and hasnt
started for awhile. Colless will give forestreno a good run
and hes going very well at the 13's hes good e/w value.
Joint Chiefs will have to come from last start but he'll
be flying late and don't leave out Baqaba from your tris , he's had his probs this prep but has some talent.

Race 3.
Our Lukas is ready to win now , his run was very good last start
and he'll put himself in the race. it will be a solid
1600m and you'd want a proven distance performer.
Ahdashim was unlucky last start but did get back to far IMO
hes a distance risk but races like the distance shouldnt
be a problem.Mirrasolo looks to be a good racehorse
and strode out nicely down the outside last start , this might be a
bit tough but shes a place chance at odds.

Race 4.
I've been taking on pressday and getting beat but i'll do it
again here as i think RingaRingaRosie is something
special. She'll just need some room and she'll be far to good for these.
Fashion did well last start and at the odds worth including.
Smokin Joey the other to keep safe.

Race 5.
Baughurst the best of the runs in the EF Cup , Tinseltown
and Fulmonti the best of the runs in the Premiers Cup.
These the ones to concentrate on.
Persian Star has been good to me but this is way harder than the
donkeys hes been beating.He still has that finish
that you need in these big fields so keep him safe
with Larry and Indakator.

Race 6.
kutchinsky was awesome last start , no reason to jump off ,
Rocket to Rio and the girls Miss Keepsake and Dariana for
the exotics.

Race 7,
The Straddie :) Go the fat but he'll need some luck ,
Ortensia the other to back.
Whobe and Latin News the dangers. add Melito and Mr Baritone
and i'm confident the trifecta.

Race 8,
How do you not back Rothesay , Hus De Leiftern isnt hopeless,
and at odds Swiss Rose and Irish Dream could add some
value to the exotics.

Our Lukas the highlight of the day for me , will be unbeatable in the Ipswich cup ,
Rothesay a star , makes you wonder if he could have won the straddie ??
The derby was a good result ,

that Pressday got me again but i have to hand it to him as he was very good today , wasnt that impressive last start but ridden quietly like today he was awesome , Rosie was also very good and still has a future,

Good to see Daunting Lad win , hes very honest , and Crossthestart was surprising as i doubted him the last 200m , but he loved the firmer surface and was to good .

watch tinseltown he was all over the place ,, if he went straight he would have finished pretty close..
