7-SUNDAY ADIEU
2-BIKKIE TIN BLUES 8-KINCHARM 5-RAMPANT LION |
Yeah Kincharm should be suited today but doesn't win many. Sunday Adieu better form has been on wet tracks but still capable on top of the ground. At the odds will have some ew Precise Timing. Doesn't get over middle distance too often but has been placed over 2400.

Not having a bet but will be watching. Would be nice to see Bikkie Tin Blues show a bit of his old form.

The Darwin Cup!
One of the best social days on the Oz race calendar! Been there 3 times last 8 years. Sadly can't make it this year :( If you never never go, you'll never never know :D |
Top day! Been just the once, a few years back. Highly recommended :)

Not had a good look myself yet, but a mate of mine (working in Darwin at the moment) has the hots for Montepertuso, says the gelding is crying out for the 2000M.
|
Don't mind the look of Montepertuso's form either. Meets two of the better chances in the cup (Nozi & Austpak) better at the weights. Only grey Happy Spot doesn't seem to have any middle distance form. Likes to lead & could give cheek with a suitable run up front. Brad Star has won both the Darwin Guineas & the NT Derby (over the 2000m) in impressive fashion, so you would have to include.

Listed Boulder Cup over 1760m
Some important scratchings from the cup today but should still prove a great spectacle. The Coolgardie Cup winner Friar’s Touch attempts the Kalgoorlie double. I Command very unlucky in the Coolgardie blocked for clear running in the straight. Top weight Forest Frolic a chance but is 2nd-up. Does have Pike on board. Good win Impact Rating Kal last start. Nice run the lightly raced Juggernaut in the Coolgardie as well.
