Who would have thought a month or so back that you could get 50/1 for German Chocolate! Sure GCs last run was poor but imo the run was completely out of character. And sure better suited on a dry track but has won on the wet.

PATfromPERTH 25th April 2008 10:19 AM

I've put a little ew Megatic (from WA) capable of placing (at his best) but doubt he can win Forensics deserves to be fav on her last run but how she will handle the wet track remains to be seen If Eskimo Queen can repeat her last start effort she will be hard to hold out Likewise Casino Prince The topweight Mentality not without a chance at the odds especially if the track improves

Hi Pat
No doubt you've read that Megatic has been working well on the wet track & also had excuses last run, slight back injury, that fixed now, you never know ;)

I've been most impressed by West Aussie & Turnbull Stakes runner-up Scenic Shot's form this time in. Trainer Danny Morton pleased as punch with his gutsy victory in the Hollindale Stakes. Should be primed for the Doomben Cup!

suds 12th May 2008 10:18 AM

eskimo queen my early top choice

wildtom 13th May 2008 06:27 AM

Michael Moroney looks well placed with his trio
Understand Sarrera and Eskimo Queen will definitely run
Apparently Mission Critical needs a firm track - a little unusual for a horse from NZ!
