Weetwood: Swiss Ace has a better draw after scrs,, key might be Noble Gaze drawn the pole,,has the speed to make Swiss Ace work. How it pans out for Hard To Catch from the inside draw will be interesting,,could get a good sit or need a lot of luck if too far back. Not a fan of Upilio,,doesn't win enough for my liking but from a reasonable draw should get an ok run midfield & be grinding home. Don't mind Umaprince & Blood n Bone. Hopefully Spinks will settle Umaprince just off the pace & not take on the leaders,,Blood n Bone should be pelting home. Good luck with yours!

No matter which way I look at the race I keep coming back to Swiss Ace. Vocalic should run a great race but has an outside barrier.

Sir Sensible gave local trainer Rex Lipp his 3rd Toowoomba Cup with Lipp getting the quinella as well [Jussemi]! Lipp started setting both horses for the race straight after the equine influenza saga was over. Didn't he do well!
