Good win with Scenic Blast, Usurper. Who knows? Maybe you can come from the clouds and finish in the top two.

Morphettville All Up [$16]
5 #7 place -> 6 #6 place -> 8 #7 place -> 9 #12 place

Closing balance: $0.

That was supposed to be Caulfield race 8 #6, not race 6, #6. If it's too late to change, I understand.

Sportz 1st September 2007 02:33 PM

Yes it is. I'm sorry. :o

I can certainly understand what you mean, but no, you can't change it now that race 6 has been run. Bad luck. In future, try to put the name of the horse as well as the number.

Usurper 1st September 2007 02:35 PM

Yeah my bad, lazy, not a problem, cheers :)

In a quinella, your "banker" can already finish either 1st or 2nd. And then one of your other selections simply has to fill the other place in the first 2. So, if you have one horse as a banker from 4 others, then surely that costs just $4, not $6.

Well it's the first time I've ever had a roving banker quin. in my life, so whatever you reckon. I thought the cost was $5 or $6[?]. If the cost is $4 then that's 6 units for $24? I don't think I can have 6.25 units for $25 can I ?

The NZ quin won.

Sportz 1st September 2007 03:01 PM

Well nobody else would have had one either crash, because as I said, it doesn't exist. When you have a banker in a quinella, it already IS a "rover" in as much as it can finish either 1st or 2nd. Then one of your other selections has to fill the other place in the top 2. And yes, it does cost $4 for 1 unit, so you can have 6 units on the 2 quinellas today.

I'm being very fair here, because this could cost me a spot in the top 2.

crash 1st September 2007 03:13 PM

Well I'll be fair too Sports. Like I said those 2 quins were my first 2 RB quins but since I put them up I've had another one at my local TAB. It reads:

RACE 3 - 12.35
QIN 6RB,1,4,10,11 [that exactly what's on the ticket]. It cost me $6 for 1 unit.

Apart from that, I read a 2 page article on Roving banker quins. last night in an Australian glossy punting mag. If they don't exist what are they talking about and what about the ticket? A Banker quin?

As it was discribed to me in the mag. No. 6 would be my RB [must come 1st. or 2nd.] and any of the other 4 for either 1st or 2nd.

Anyway your the boss, I'll go by whatever decision you make Sportz.
