Thanks

Sportz

Did you get my replacement for Grand Armee?

Stix

Sorry Stix, but it's too early. You have to wait till next Monday. That's the first trading period.

Sportz I have to apologise I said before that Miss Potential had been retired well that is false she is in the Mudgway in NZ this weekend so I guess they changed there mind with her again.

Sportz 24th August 2005 05:31 PM

Yes, I saw that.

After your info about her retiring, I got one of the others to take her out of their stable. Luckily, she hasn't run and won in Australia during the month or it would have been embarassing.

fantastic story about Miss Potential ...how she came back from a crippling leg injury is incredible..the only horse i've ever heard of that has come back from that sort of injury to win ..hope she comes back to OZ and kicks butt :)

I always loved her as a horse....just got in front - and stayed there... Was nearly always over the odds and i never excluded her in the exotics/mutiples. When she was supposed to win, she won, and when she was supposed to fail, she ran a place!

Raw Instinct 24th August 2005 08:48 PM

I agree Chuck she is tough as nails even more unbelievable is the injuries she has come back from which is probably why so many underrate her as a race horse.

I always back her and was disappointed when I saw that story actually Sportz would think if she is sound she will be back to OZ again this season, I would also like to add I had her in my stable to before I read that I would have been furious if I didn't have her in there and she ran here.

Besame Mucho has been retired Sportz, had a quick look and you and Jimmy seem to be the only two who have it in your stables.

Sportz 25th August 2005 02:34 PM

Yep, that's right.

It was a bit of a gamble on my part, but she had been going well in trackwork before her return and I thought she might sneak a win or two if she recaptured her best form.
