I am a huge fan of Show Biz Kid to I would just like to add that.

Sportz as far as the races went yesterday you'll have to excuse me I have had a bad chest infection since Thursday night my whole body has been killing not to mention the coughing everytime I try and sleep if only I could master the art of sleeping standing up although at the rate I am going at I will pass out not go to sleep.

Gday Raw

I agree with your sentiments... it's the way i do my ratings, I just don't really take the track into account and they can sometimes come undone on wet days, tho yesterday in Bris I had a pretty good day with 5 on top winners....tho the SS Coast is more often rain affected than not... or is that just my imagination?

So Showbiz is coming off a nice Win at Toowoomba carting 61, gets 5 or 6 kgs relief today.. class should not be a worry with him... I just think he is a chance... The fish is the standout, but I am looking around him. Amex is a horse I can't catch... If I rate him well he goes under, if he starts at double figures he wins... he is a hard one

with Cool Front, I am an unabashed O'Shea fan... this horse is not in this race for nothing... is untried worse than dead, that doesn't worry me, it's form isn't disgusting, beaten 1.8 last start by Plans at the Coast, had a good win on Christmas eve in A WFarm welter... The track is the worry, but I am prepared to take a risk on that.... the form at the distance is ok 1/1/1...

Tho the swimmer will probably win :)

xpt,

It seems that ever since they changed the name from "Caloundra" to the "Sunshine Coast", there's hardly been any. (sunshine that is)

Gday Sportz

yep it always seems to be rain affected there

Raw Instinct 22nd January 2006 12:51 PM

It does seem to rain an awful lot there compared to anyone else in Queensland. You could be right about both Cool Front and Show Biz Kid and to a degree I wouldn't mind seeing Show Biz Kid win he deserves to win some nice races. I like O'shea as a trainer aswell but has he gone a little off the boil I am only going off the top of my head not looking at any figures just hasn't seemed to be getting the winners he was a couple of years ago, Ofcourse that can happen when you lose a horse the quality of Private Steer to.

(6) TOP MARC primed and ready, suited this course and will handle any track condition.

I was at Goldmarket day when Top Marc had the great run and when I was visiting the stables, I heard his strapper saying to some old ducks that he expected the horse to run well despite the poor barrier and he also said that when the horse is calm in the stalls, he is likely to run well but if he is stirred up, he wil run poorly. Now he was calm on Goldmarket day and unfortunately I didn't take the advice and backed Nessuno which ran 4th, although I believe could have placed if Brad Pengelly hadn't have gone so early on the horse.
