Takeover Target is a freak. Its great to see horses like him succeed in Australia, let alone win overseas. Not to mention how good it is to beat the poms at something else :)

I ended up backing all the Aussies and it was great to see Takeover Target win however I did feel that Falkirk was pretty unlucky he had the 2 horses fall around him and run up the ass of something else when coming through at about the 150m mark with a straight run at them he would have gone extremely close i feel.

what a wonderful day in racing for all aussies.aussie joe tt and jay ford well done this is clearly one the great racing stories that our country has seen.
they will be given a heroes welcome on return.
