fair enough he is a chance in any of these staying races anyway hard to say you wouldn't knock either one back though.

I'll be including in multies on the day if starts though |
interesting nom Sky Conqueror from Canada
said to be very good but from what I've read trainer has sights set on the Canadian International in October & not a trip down-under |
Apart from the 2 Japanese horse,Maybe Better's was the run of the race for an immature stayer.
IMO the Japs will get weighted out of it this year,MB won't,will be stronger and more mature this year, and Brian is one of the best in the business. I,ve backed it already and gonna keep nibbling at it as long as it remains above $20. If it comes up this prep as I expect, you wont get those odds come raceday. |
Sorry guys,
My post was supposed to be on the MC thread. |
A mate of mine reckons the metropolitan is always a great lead up race for this but apart from last year I'm not so sure. Anyone agree / disagree?

Nice return by Maybe Better on the weekend, worked home nicely in the closing stages although well beaten. Could take out the CC / MC double. |
Not a bad effort by Blue Monday either. O/S form suggests best chances Cox & CC

How was the run of Sefrah yesterday at Sandown.
201-1 for the caulfield cup. Gaining a start may be a hurdle but a sly pete mckenna ($10) on her surely wont bust the bank and you never know! |
