I applied it to all distances
|
Thanks, Bhagwan.
Those are impressive results and I will now start to bet them. The F.Curse did not attack the lay method yesterday - I had a 100% success rate. I've now included the TIM algorithym in the "distance races" (1,400 metres-plus) as it seems to improve the chance of the lowest ranked horse not winning. |
Bhagwan, out of interest here are today's selections:
Canterbury R1 no.3 Canterbury R2 no.6 Balaklava R1 no.1 Balaklava R4 no.1 Balaklava R8 no.2 Gold Coast R1 no.3 Gold Coast R9 no.1 |
Ouch, forum curse bit hard on the first race posted at Balaklava!
|
Hi, Thorns.
On the third posting on this thread the third rule to the Lay method is "the top selection must not have a total of 60 points or more" At that time the two neural categories were on a setting of 3. Then Bhagwan recommended to change to a setting of 5 so that this would eliminate most instances where there are two selections on equal points. On the 9th posting I mentioned I would therefore also increase the points from 60 to 100. Fortunately the race 1 selection at Balaklava had 100-plus points so it was a no-race for the Lay system, and I backed the selection each-way, together with the other selections as itemised in today's earlier posting. There have been three races already run, for two winners and a second. Let's hope the good luck continues. |
Thats a lot to take in, no wonder I'm confused
|
Yes, it can be confusing as I and Bhagwan have been changing the rules.
Now there are two systems based on the very same algorithyms and settings, but not the total points - one Lay and the other Bet. Hopefully they will both be successful. |
