I ain't followed your thread bonecrusher, but might do because I find them what follow up their predictions with actual profit loss statements are very interesting, particularly if they show a Profit.

Yours don't.
But is very brave of you to do it and I admire you for your efforts and to me it is not about tipping , but sharing.

Know that I will be here reading if you ever feel dejected.
And that I am interested whether you win or lose.

I get dejected when it appears noboby gets any benefit at all from my posts.
Especially when no one bothers to read, which I can't really blame anyone but myself.
You can't force anyone to admire whatever it is you feel you may have.

Can you do me one more thing please bonecrusher?
Could you paste the animals name beside its number?
It makes for better reading than just a number.

Cheers.

Hey Moeee - thanks for the support. I don't need it though - this thread is about showing ideas and a full workout, no matter who is reading it now. And I agree these ideas need to be fully documented, researched out and then left for others to interpret and (perhaps) modify to suit themselves at a later date. But thanks anyway for the words..appreciated. ;)

I'm confident this system will turn a profit thru the better racing months of November and beyond, and I'll be showing that. I'm also confident that punters backing on the track, or thru anything but the VIC TAB, can do far better than I'm showing. I also suspect that track specialists would find some patterns in the data coming out here. Even if we can't erase the Loss built up, the fact that it can make a profit, even at some stages of the racing calendar, would be enough to make it a worthwhile exercise don't you think? As people can adapt that fact to suit their own needs.

Nobody is the same when it comes to betting. So I present this, warts and all, in the hope someone can take some something from it, 'paper loss' or not. :)

Finally, on the dog's names - I won't be doing that. This system is about a 2 minute work out of fields WITHOUT knowing anything about the dog itself beyind merely it's form and Box number. Sorry about that - its just not relevant to this system (and could possibly hinder a weaker will).

I'm sorry Bonecrusher.
I didn't realize your selections were based on zero knowledge.

Did you know that most winning Punters are winning Punters because they know more than the losing Punters?
I don't know that.But I assume it because it makes sense .

I just read your 5 Rules.
The only thing you have going for you is oif the rules will seperate the Overbet animals from the Underbet ones.

Rule 1 is useful because Don Scott and others have suggested that the best Value bets are around the 3 to 1 Mark.
But not enough to make a Profit. You must get the best Odds available to do that.

Rule 2 appears to increase the strike rate , but not necessarily introduce an increase in Profit.
In fact I suggest it may well decrease the Profit, because uninformed money tends to fall on animals with good latest form.

Rule 3 again increases the strike rate, but many database sorter-outerers have found the middle boxes tend to show less of a loss due to the higher dividends.Middle Boxes are very unfashionable.

Rule 4 again increases the strike rate with perhaps no increase in Profit.

Good Luck with your system Bonecrusher.
But in these days of Computers and Databases, winning systems like these that were around in the old Olympic Park Days, may have worked, but I feel you will end up with a minimum loss of turnover of the current take-out which is $15 in every $100 bet.

Cheers.

I'm sorry if I offended you bonecrusher.
The last thing I need is more enemies.

The thing is , you can choose your friends , but you can't choose your enemies.
I don't mind having no friends, but it sure is lonely :(
