But why? A rating is a performance rating, you are trying to measure the quality of its performance, whether or not you are using Speed ratings or a Class & Weight method of rating, it's still relevant (in my opinion). That run still exists and it tells you something about the horses level of ability.

Hey Raven, I think you could be right there. Yesterday I had Hurtle Myrtle (Rand Race 8) rated on top and it won paying around $23. But it hadnt raced for 35 days and I left it out.,................damn
