Ratings are ratings
 

To me Stix I see these type of ratings as an end in themselves. Surely DS has already made what he felt were the required adjustments to get to his ratings. Or have I horribly over simplified this angle ?

The thing to be aware of is the TC they,ve rated for.
i.e TC today = good BUT the ratings are given out for Dead.

Its R+S major Fault and no matter how often you tell them their too lazy to do anything about it.

It's a good site for testing.....but I'm hoping for some first hand experiences with looking at the DS ratings, can't be too promising as no one wants to contribute...does not bode well for me...must of all "Crash'ed and burned...

Don Scott top ranks are a good starting point espeically when used with a barrier or price filter. Try wide barriers and $5+ or even in a price range.

You need to avoid the favourites and/or short priced horses with the don scott ratings as they are overbet.
