Haha well there is a career path I hadn't considered until now.

On the point of being cautious in regards to internet 'investment' offers, has anybody been caught out by the property spruikers that fly you interstate for free to look at their amazing and well priced 1 bedroom student apartments, get sucked into buying one for $300,000 because its in 'prime location' only to be in the position a couple years later where its worth $220,000 instead?

The above is a little over simplified but not exactly over-exagerated. We've seen a little bit of it here but just wondering if anyone else had seen it?

Have heard about it, most of the places are on the Gold Coast, i wonder if just seeking an independent price evaluation would save some people.

It probably would Shaun, its just unbelievable how much trust people put in over the phone spruikers, people offering free flights to a destination or illigitimate websites offering big returns but take sometimes years to build a comfortable a trustworthy relationship with a professional they can meet face to face. And I don't just mean financial planner, thats inclusive of accountants, doctor's etc etc.
