Very impressive Testa.

After looking at the numbers, what about dropping the place and wacking it all on the win ? You would have been much futher in front if you had started that way.

Again, great going !

Cheers.

TESTAROSSA 26th September 2003 11:12 AM

Thankyou everyone.

TAB Hunter, what would you like to know???

Crash, as i stated earlier this is just a dry run, so we will just see how it holds up before i decide how to bet.

Friday 26/9/03 Selections:

Moonee Valley.

R4 (13) Special Harmony - 2nd, $1.90.

R6 (10) Gumboot - UNP.

R7 (1) Tendency - UNP.

Canberra.

R6 (3) Silver Laddie - 4th, (13) Not Fussy - 5th.

R7 (8) Roman Splendour - 3rd, $1.70.

Dubbo.

R7 (3) Caught At Dawn - UNP, (5) Bitcede - UNP.

R8 (4) Final Edict - 1st, $28.20, $4.30.

Swan Hill.

R6 (3) Akiva - UNP.

Luckily Final Edict popped up at good odds to save an otherwise disastrous day, although looking at some of the other runs they weren't all bad, including Silver Laddie who finished 4th in a blanket finish, couple more strides it might have even won, and Not Fussy got well back and ran on well to finish 5th. Bitcede missed the kick by about 100m and Caught By Dawn still ran a good race, Roman Splendour got too far back as well but still came home well to finish 3rd, so all in all not to bad.

Results:

Selections - 46.
Winners - 18.
Placings - 27.
Win only Return - $108.70.
P.O.T - $62.70 (136.3%)
Win 1 unit, Place 2 units Return - $211.36.
P.O.T - $73.36 (53.1%).

Cheers.

i liked gumboot doing my own form. now you've picked it aswell it's a moral. or perhaps i've put the mock on.

cheers

Merriguy 26th September 2003 08:28 PM

Probably should keep this story for that other thread about hard luck stories and the punt!

Thought I'd follow you again Testarossa; but only one place from the first six picks today. When Final Edict was showing over $30 just before the start at Dubbo (Race Eight); I halved my bet. Thought I should stay a little with your good form anyway.

On goes $10 --- and the pick salutes at $28.20!!!! Could have had $564; but was more than satisfied with $282, I assure you. Have no idea how you managed it --- and still two to go tonight. Congrats. again. Have never had two winners on consecutive days at more than $25.00 ever. Thanks.
