The reason why Launceston R5 no.10 was not included in my selections was because my newspaper, the Sunday Telegraph, did not provide a pre-post market for the Launceston races, nor for Gawler or Bunbury. I did not check Unitab for these meetings. I assume it was a 5 pointer - it met all the other rules of the system. What a pity - it paid $3.60 and $1.60 which is a very good dividend for the system. I won't claim it as a system winner because I can't be certain the Telegraph would have had it in the top three faves, and also, I did not list it as a selection on this forum. But it is heartening to know that the system continues to perform.

Isn't that a shocker. I know there is more racing these days than there used to be, but surely papers can manage to find just a bit more space to provide pre-post markets for all tracks. In the past, the Courier Mail and Sunday Mail have always been pretty good in that respect, but they are starting to do the same sort of thing. Very disappointing. Maybe we're going to have to think about using WA Tabform prices for systems like these.
