In a word, NO. They decide it on the rankings as of April 1 next year and there aren't many series decided before then. I think it may be mathematically possible, but it is highly unlikely. As it says in the article they could totally lose form and probably still end up on top.

Thanks, i was thinking it would be weird if we hosted it and the rest of the world played, lets say ? india, when i 1st heard it would be the no.1 yaem playing.
