when I say this I mean absolutely NO offence. Please do not take this personal..

isn't it a bit crazy to be risking your money on something as unpredictable as a bunch of dogs trying to outrun each other?

I will admit, I am quite naive about greyhound racing but it seems very difficult to make money on. I've seen others make money on occasion but I'm yet to find a consistent winner. Whereas in something like NBA, NFL and soccer there are consistent winners.

Please help me to understand what motivates you to bet on these events and is it possible to make profit?

Once again, I mean no disrespect.

Knowledge,

I DON'T bet on them. Well, apart from one particular form of greyhound racing which has just recently given me some VERY nice wins, but in that particular case, I'm betting only because of the incredible value available, not because I'm really into greyhound racing. I didn't have any bets at all tonight and I haven't had any bets on any of my selections in the tipping comps.

I agree with a lot of what you say. A few dogs tonight looked like good things, but got bumps early on and had no chance. But even so, I have become quite interested in it while we've been having this tipping comp and I've learnt a fair bit more about the sport.

Hmmm, those divs weren't bad. By the way, I'm thinking of using IAS Super Price for the Horse Racing Comp. I assume they operate 'Super Price' on ALL galloping meetings? Anyone know for sure.
