If I have read this system correctly, it targets backing the 1st. and 2nd. favorites at the jump that are running in any barrier between 2 and 12 [including barriers 2 and 12?] that where 3rd. throught to 7th. p/post favorites ?

Most maiden races are no more than 1110m. and most also have no more than 12 runners. So unless 1st. and 2nd. p/post favorites jump as favorites [and very, very often they don't in maiden races], it's a betable race if the SP 1st. and 2nd. fav. were the 3rd. through to 7th. fav. pre/post, as long as they are not jumping from barrier 1 ?

Seems like a LOT of bets on the 2 SP favorites of a LOT of maiden races.

This actualy wins money long term Bagman ?

Hi Captain Charger,
To answer your question ,
If there was a pre-post 2nd ranked horse that ended up being the 1st ranked horse on the TAB ,it would still not be a selection.
If one reads the rules again, it clearly states that the first 1or2 TAB favs have to come from Pre-post rankings 3-7 in the newspaper.

In other words if either of the Top 2TAB ranking Favs is also either the top 2 ranking Pre-post favs ,they are deleted.

Cheers

Sorry mate, just one more thing.(Sound like Columbo don't I ).Is your 3-7 ratings after scratchings.I'm a little bit old and was including 1-2 as well, where it does clearly state 3-7.Won't bother you again, thankyou Bhagwan.
