The top 2 picks look to have a clear form edge here. Both have projected peaks of 71. Difference between the two are Brown v Coleman (gotta admit I know nothing of him) and gate 3 v gate 10.

Eremein gets all the ticks for mine. Has had a perfect prep; only beaten by fitness at Canterbury, dominant at Rosehill with a 67 rating (wait till he produces his 71), and is drawn to get the run of the race.

Stella Grande & King Johny can improve and both are probably better chances than the raitngs suggest.

Xlent looks good but i'm un willing to take the odds..not sure of the jockey or whether the horse can handle such a race and the track conditions..
to many minuses for me...
Might have an eachway on Outback prince who was only a few lenghts off the mighty mare mast time...has to be the best form line around here..

I have a major concern with Xcellent. I watched his win LS and it was a nice win, and I was beginning to get impressed seeing as it was a group 1 WFA, when I noticed something odd: Lashed came third.

Lashed wouldn't come third in a PROPER group 1 in Australia if there were only three runners. This is a major concern.

One other thing - what's wrong with Outback Prince's chances? He finished 4.5 lens off the world's greatest stayer last start....
