You can do these multi bets just at the TAB right?

Do the matches all need to be within 24 hours of one another or anything?

Sorry Im a newbie. Anyone wanna explain them to me :D

Jack Daniels 21st March 2005 10:54 AM

I think it depends on what state you are in TABSportsbet in NSW allows you to place multi bets up to 10 legs with odds of less than 5000/1. On the bet types they offer only. some of the other bookie sites allow multis of your or their choosing with multiple options and legs.

No 24 hour restrictions that I have come accross. They do have restrictions on some of the bets, for instance:

eg;

TABSportsbet NSW - You can't bet on Roosters to beat Penrith and take the Roosters 1-12 in the same multi.

or

Australia to beat NZ in 2nd test and Ponting to score most runs in the game.

I am unsure of the rules for most of the other bookie sites.

I hope this helps.

Here is the best one I have gotten home on in recent weeks:

Chelsea $1.85 Vs Barcelona
x
Lyon $1.92 Vs Weder Bremen
x
AC Milan $1.92 Vs Manchester United
x
Arsenal $2.10 Vs Bayern Munich
x
Juventus $2.10 Vs Real Madrid
x
Australia $1.63 Vs New Zealand (cricket, 1st test result)
x
Carlton $1.42 Vs West Coast Eagles (AFL Wizard Cup Grand Final)
x
Sydney Kings $1.85 Vs Wollongong (to win NBL Grand Final series).

Odds = $128.78
x
My Bet: $10.00

Return: $1,287.80

What the...? Geez, well done Jack. You are doing well lately.

Chuck 21st March 2005 02:24 PM

in Wimbledon 2 years ago i got home a $110 one, but didn't have enough on it!

Chuck 21st March 2005 02:27 PM

oh, and i think the limitis something like 80 days between bets on multis

BTW the best racing double i've got up is F.O.O to win the Cox Plate @ $15, and the Diva to win the Cup @ $11, $10 * $165 = $1650

Kitch 21st March 2005 08:14 PM

That was insane...!

I dream about returns like this...this multi betting seems to be the way to go I reckon.

Sportz 21st March 2005 08:29 PM

I'm always too cautious. 3 of the last 4 years I would have got the Caulfield/Melbourne Cup double but didn't put one on.

Floydyboy 21st March 2005 09:25 PM

I had a 7 legger @85 and an 8 legger @139 the other night on the soccer but only had 2 and 1 dollars on them resp.....Nice work if ya can get it
