Sounds interesting.. Thursday for me kinda sucks because sometimes I am ready of a thursday sometimes not until friday because of work.. Sometimes I dont get all the fields until late thursday night depends on my provider as well.. But i like the idea.. I reckon this forum should be able to beat the press fairly easily and regularly.. I assume we are only looking at the metros... tho Perth has been pretty kind of late

I suspect that you guys will not be any better than the "ex_perts". Doing your tips on a friday defeats the purpose of this thread as you will all have the "ex_perts" tips.

Knowing the way most of these other blokes tip, they don't tend to take a lot of notice of newspaper tipsters.

Anyway, we don't necessarily have to compete with the experts. That was just an idea. We'll do this to compete with each other and at the same time form a consensus of all our opinions. It will be interesting to see how we go.

I do not and have never taken any notice of what the newspaper, Best Bets or the Sprotsman have tipped ever at allI buy the Best Bets every week wholy and solely because it is the easiest form of a form guide to read has everything in it that I want and it isn't enormous like the Sportsman. I am fine going against the tipsters but Thursday would be real hard for me most of the time usually do my form on Friday nights so that would suit much better.

Sounds fun Sportz if you want me ...would luv either Adelaide or Brissie :) Friday night would be better as well...that way you have some idea of the track conditions for the day..

My top picks would be Melbourne and Brisbane just a shame that I can't see the races in Melbourne anymore

Yep, count me in guys, it is tricky tipping from litle old NZ but i usually do the form with neurals, and the Tassie site, and that form is available early enough.
