good question woody. a quick check of orig rules posted on other thread suggests you might still have a chance to post a 'stable A'. i couldn't see where it was stated a specific 'end' date. Sportz?

The first thread has a few posts Sportz, I assume somewhere amongst them it specifically says you have to have a stable 'A' to be able to then get a stable 'B', & then have a stable 'B' to then be able to get a stable 'C'. i.e. it might be within the rules to obtain both a stable 'B' & 'C' even if there was a stated closeoff deadline [which has expired] for gaining a stabe 'A'.

Geez, you guys make it tough. I really don't like being the bad guy!!! :o

The horses are ALL part of the one stable, not 3 different stables. The first week we chose the 4YO+ horses, then this week we choose 3YOs, then next week we choose 2YOs.

I know I didn't menton exact deadlines in my original post, but I think it was reasonably clear to the people playing the game that everyone had to choose the horses in that order. And once I saw exactly how popular the comp was, I was able to put a deadline on the 4YO+ selections at 7pm last night.

In all, people have had around 8 or 9 days to get involved, and I think that's enough. We had 21 stables after the 4YO+ sale closed off last night and I reckon that's a good number. I'd like to keep it at that.

Because I ruled out Woody's bid. As such, I basically had to disregard all bids made after that, so the previous $350,000 bid of crash remained the leading bid. If you want to beat that, you can, but I didn't think you'd want to bid $430,000 when you only have to beat $350,000.

I don't know. This is Ron Maund and Gold Edition we're talking about here. I'd say there's still a fair chance she'll be racing in Sydney. As for Publishing, well after yesterday's effort, you wouldn't want to buy him anyway.

Read where GE is to be aimed at the filly/mares races over Autumn--Coolmore etc. She is the best filly going around, but not sure if she will be value in this comp. As for Publishing, his last start win in 'Open' company was against a field of slugs.
