I backed the treble for $1 [$24] at the local on one of our rare Sat. arvo trips there with her-in-doors [I got the $14 from the $314 Vic. tab] but had a very nice collect for myself on Mitanni [good lord, the horse runs 1200m in low 1.08's].

Well, here is the good reading for Crash who saluted
with a magnificent treble yesterday.

Needless to say, after the roughie scored in r5, he is
the only one eligible to spend $25 next week.

The rest of us will spend our humble $20

After a quick glance it looks like the treble didn't go off today - $211.70!
Amazing that a few more of us didn't go gold edition one out in the first leg.

I was only going to take 2 in either the first or 3rd leg a I was sure either Gold edition or Desert war would stuff up. My third pick in the last would have been Beadman on number 7, but decided Desert War with Ollie on-board was less likely to stuff up. Ho ho!

Had a nice collect on the Jackal anyway.

Well, quite a few of us were live and kicking going into the last leg yesterday but Desert War let us down.
But Gold Edition's win gives all of us who submitted tips $25 for next week.
