Tough race to sort out but I am settling on these
1. Galileo's Choice 2. Mount Athos 3. Maluckyday 4. Americain 5. Cavalryman you have to draw a line somwhere and I guess this is where it stops for me there are plenty of others I could include Ethiopia, Zabeelionaire, Red Cadeaux, Dunaden, Green Moon, Winchester are the most prominant in my mind if the rain comes that changes things aswell All I can say is if your having a bet good luck you'll need it |
Currently dead (4) all starting

All a poor Yank like me can to is bet Max Hitchin's picks. Probably have a look at Tony Brassel's picks, and most assuredly, the good fellow members who post here. Good luck.

Congrats to those who tipped the winner. It looks like a few of us had it within our selections.
The second and third places were suprising to me though. |
Only 2 horses I could see to win and happy to have one of them.

I had been all over Green Moon for everything this spring well ofcourse today I saved it for a $10 e/w bet for my daughter while my donkeys are still running congrats to anyone that won a stack on it.

..one very happy daughter..no doubt :) |
lol not really mate she is less than 2 weeks old we just held the paper up in front of her and that was what she pointed to my other daughter picked Tac De Biostren so it didn't go so well there.
funnily enough a couple of years ago when the other daughter was roughly 3 months old we did the same trick for her and she picked Americain back then I had $20 E/W on it the money has gone into piggy banks for them both one day they can enjoy it :) |

There was a bookie in Moree who was called Hitchins, I think his name was Ernie from memory. I'll have a look for this Max later on, not a common name so I'm guessing they may well be related. |
OK, so here's my hard luck Cup story from yesterday, it isn't bad....
Had a 3/14 quinella x $10...finished 1st and 3rd...not sure what the approx divvy was but I'm guessing $700...pretty close to $7k. Had a tri 3/14, 3/14, field for a full unit as well. finished 1st and 3rd...guessing divvy would have been $60k approx....didn't have enough mohicans to go 3/14, field, 3/14 etc Had a 6 horse box for a full unit as well...3,14 and 4 others...but not the 11.... I didn't back Green Moon. I have a strange feeling that I may have missed the boat a little. Such is life. The end. :) |
Keep hoppin' Kanga..

Yep.
1 Post from Pro Ratings and 1 post from the "World Famous" but different threads. I assume the missing regular posters of late are enjoying the $343,000 that Lord Greystoke and I gave on Last Saturdays BIG6.(See Golden Dart Big 6 thread) |
