Sticking with Spider Strikes to back up & win again Chrome Prince. Would make it 4 wins in row, interesting to see how the grey goes.

Yes Paddy,

Could fail of course, but ran a very fast final sectional last start, so had to risk it.

B/fwd Balance: $10,150.00

PR 4 #9 Miss Italia -
PR 5 #6 Spider Strikes $3.10

Paddy 18th July 2004 07:49 AM

And the Spider Strikes again! Liked the way he finished the race off.

Chrome Prince 18th July 2004 07:53 AM

Yep, and had a dip at $3.10 too.
Was backed in from around $4.00.
That final sectional time stood up well Paddy, hope you were onboard.

Paddy 18th July 2004 08:07 AM

Certainly was Chrome Prince  many a winner, in form & backing up within 7 days.

Chrome Prince 21st July 2004 12:55 AM

Selections for Wednesday:

Just the one possibility...

PR 5 #3 MYTHALO

Paddy 21st July 2004 06:50 AM

Doesn’t look that well weighted (compared to a couple of other horses MYTHALO has recently met) IMO, but well drawn & does have the services of Stephen Miller. Happy to be proven wrong Chrome Prince.

Chrome Prince 21st July 2004 11:52 AM

There's certainly a few dangers in the race, most prominently the two topweights, who are very consistent in their few starts Open Class. Mythalo has won two of the last four starts in pretty good time.

Mythalo is certainly not home for all money, but is a good eachway chance and was only beaten 2L last start, I'd think I'd get a decent price given the others "look" better on paper.

Just seen #2 Arctic Park is scratched, perhaps the price won't be so hot

Partypooper,
The place return is around 4% POT with a 45% strike rate (roughly).
I'm betting win only because in the long-run the POT is far greater.
Very frustrating today, but there's always next week!

Paddy 25th July 2004 11:47 AM

Frustrating indeed Chrome Prince but still in front

Chrome Prince 25th July 2004 11:54 AM

Only by a nose Paddy!

Actually, the results have been much better for the place than the win since posting, but history says win betting is more productive.

Perhaps the horses are running to the line thinking "I'm on the propun forum, can't win - but I'll ************ well run a place!"

partypooper 2nd August 2004 02:22 AM

Chrome, we have to be "MAD" to post the tips here don't we?? my place system went up and down like a yo yo, for 6 months b4 it went into, makes u wonder how many investors would stick with it, or would simply "GIVE UP")

Chrome Prince 2nd August 2004 12:43 PM

G'day Partypooper,

Yep, very easy to throw in the towel after a couple of ordinary weeks, but stay tuned, the winners are out there and these type of systems have long losing streaks before the bucket fills.
Very easy to look at the tips and say they're no good, I've done it before, but just when you're about to give up, two or three 20/1 shots will bob up.
I know I'm knocking on the door with so many placings from the selections.
I don't need to collect every day or every week, if the odds are sufficient to recoup a month's investment.

Hi Chrome,

Now is this the Titanium, or Titanic ship...tipping service ?

Cheers.

Chuck 28th August 2004 07:54 AM

Hey Chrome, if you could check my systems on the other forum, then that would be greatly appreciated
Thanks alot
Chuck

darkydog2002 28th August 2004 08:20 AM

If you reckon CHROMES having a bad trot you should see WINNER IN 3 .
1 win in 14 bets and that at $2.40.
God knows where they get this winner in 3 nonsense from.
Cheers.
darky.

Hi Darky,

Good to see you have survived another year [no fleas on you].

I've been having a winter sabbatical and yes, it must be getting time for another Spring tipping comp. I think.

Where is this 'Winner in 3'?

darkydog2002 30th August 2004 08:39 AM

Not sure whether I can mention these 2 sites but it wouldn,t take a genius to work out.
Take my tip .If you do figure these sites out AVOID BOTH LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Absolutely hopeless.
Cheers.
