D'oh - found a typo on my spread sheet , didn't affect race MV R2 , but moves one up slightly in R7

MV R2 got the trifecta in top 4 - not that it was too hard. Actually had a small wager on it , standing the 2 out from 4,3 from a few more

Yeah, well we both sorted out number 2 on top in that race.

I got R4 a bit wrong. I had 1 and 3 rated well ahead of the field. However, I did find the trifecta in my top 5 picks and it paid $447. Didn't put one on though. :(

Didn't see race 4 but fave got checked a bit by the sound of it ,
and a few others might have got disadvantaged with it.

Here you go Sportz - for what it's worth. Couple of strange ones , Super Elegant way out in front for me , could ee how that might work on paper , but , not sure it will be like that on the track. I'll compare them to yours see if we're close or not.

My 6th rated horses (Bails and Modem) managed to get into the trifecta in BR5 and MR6. I should have listed those for you. With that in mind, my 6th rated horse in SR9 is number 8 Maestro Miss.

Just a quick question - do you give bonuses for place performances ?

After looking back over Bris R6 ( Well done with the Tri in top 4 by the way)
After looking at Jimmy the Bear , I wondered why I didn't have it in my list. It's win record is poor , track win record is OK , recent form is OK. But winning form alone isn't good. But place form is good,track placing is good,distance placing is good. That's why i wondered about the place bonuses

I give bonuses and penalties for record at track and distance and record in these conditions. And when I do that, I do give a bonus if the horse has had a lot of placings but no wins. Obviously I prefer wins though and I give the highest bonuses for horses with a high win%. Regal Roller today got my highest bonus possible for track and distance - 4 kgs.

By the way, I also rated two other races today that I didn't have time to post before. Sorry about that.
