(6) TAMOSHI showed a return to form last start (with blinkers added) and should be good EW odds in the 2nd at Kalgoorlie today. Has had 5 starts following a long spell so should be right fitness wise, meets My Pass better at the weights and the small field should suit. Main danger (4) AIKO and would also include (multiples) (3) MY PASS and (2) STAR OF TELESTO.

topsy99 12th June 2005 03:24 PM

barriers

i know many on the forum consider that barriers make no difference.
in my opinion and stress my opinion wild target was beaten yesterday by the barrier. in a small field the front runner beyond dispute claimed the inside and hartleys dream who also drew inside wild target was the challenger.

barrier 7 although not considered to be a wide barrier was too wide in this case.

Agree Wild Target should have won topys99, I had it rated a clear top pick. Just a bit too much ground to make up on the other two over the last 50. Also had a saver on Beyond Dispute (which I rated 3rd just behind the eventual winner). Did managed the multiples but much better result had either Wild Target or Beyond Dispute won.

topsy99 12th June 2005 05:29 PM

i actually backed hartleys dream and beyond dispute because they were drawn inside. wild target deserved to win and was a tremendous race.
less than half a head in the first 3.

Former NSW country galloper Joe’s Solution made an impressive debut in WA with a strong 2nd when first up over the 1200 at Belmont just over a week ago. There was money around to say the gelding would do well and he probably should have finished closer had he kept a straight course in the straight. Although only a class1 maybe worth following as he steps up in distance.

DCFC 21st June 2005 05:56 AM

Oops! Forgot to mention that Joe’s Solution is listed to race in the last at Belmont tomorrow.

Ran 2nd the start above at 10/1 since beaten 4len same track class 6. In race 1 today (Belmont) and no doubt will start goods odds. Small field will suit, worth an EW nudge.

Belmont today race 3 no. 7 Cintrice EW.

DCFC 24th June 2005 03:00 AM

Watevi to line up in the last at Belmont on Saturday, very nice win last start.
In the listed races (All Stars / Helena Vale Cup) I like the way both For Shame and Jarna's Choice have been getting to the line. Expect both to do well on Saturday.

Tenacious Spirit 24th June 2005 07:38 AM

I had For Shame blackbooked from its last run.

Handy 3YO ATTRACTIONS race 6 today will be racing in blinkers for the first time and does look very well weighted. Didn't really fire last campaign but his 2YO form prior to that was very good.

Thought Kevin made his run a bit too early but did fight on extra well and the run can only improve.

Very strong win by the Paul Jordon trained Cotton Halo in heat2 of trials today at Belmont. Two very disappointing runs after winning first-up over 1400M last month at Belmont. Watching with interest next couple of official starts.

Any Info...........?

G'day Eagle1

I was worded up with 3 horse from the Belhus Racing Stable:
  • Mexican Mist (probably best)
  • Fire From Ice
  • Lord Lochinva
Any info on these 3? They look quite restricted.

Yours in Punting

Stix 3rd August 2005 04:18 PM

Mist is Best...

Mexican Mist won Paid $4.30 and $2.30, gutsy win

Congrats go to the RWWA on really upping the ante in prizemoney for Metro racing starting this Saturday. A minimum of 40k per race puts Perth racing on a par with Brisbane. (Melbourne 50k, Sydney 55k). Almost double the Adelaide prizemoney.
