Kalgoorlie Cup

I tipped Local Product in the Boulder Cup, didn’t really get hot although finished a respectable 6th. Fitter for that run and suited the extra distance today. EW for me in what appears to be a very tough race on paper.

Carnarvon Cup 2000 Metres today

Tipping (11) Shaw River to edge out the top weight (1) Thunder And Halo
Not much between them last year
Both going great guns currently
Shaw River meeting Thunder And Halo much better in the weights this time around

In the Kalgoorlie Cup (14) Universal Warrior both totes

Modem 20th September 2005 11:15 AM

Nice efforts

Thought solid runs put in by both Plastered and Modem on Saturday. Modem started at cricket score odds first-up and would not have been suited by the course or the heavy track. Plastered in particular should strip much fitter for the run attempting a middle distance first-up (again) and covering a lot of extra ground.

DCFC 20th September 2005 01:42 PM

know the feeling!

Expect another 'solid' run from WA's Denmarket on Saturday

Just the one EW for me today PR5 the Lou Luciani trained Strictly Ten now having third race start should be ready to start showing true potential. The fish is sticking and the wide draw should be no worry with the sting out of the ground

Race 6 ex cockroach Rebel Goddess for an interest.

Well, didn’t clash after all with Narrogin abandoned and they won’t clash at Belmont this Sat with Stone Man nominated for the 7th. A much harder race than was to be at Narrogin, but still an EW chance.
