I've noticed over the years that in Tennis, quite often the favourite seems to lose the first set only to come back and take the next 3. Look at Safin against Hewitt in Melbourne. As a rule, anyone that makes a Grand Slam final is generally good enough to be able to win one set, but over the course of 5 sets, the better player will win through. That was why I queried your bet. I thought it would have been much safer to just go for the win.
