It was a totally legal bet and don't laugh, but I reckon England were actually good value at $1.02.

As I said, I had actually planned to use my free bet with the pick your own odds on the State Of Origin on Wednesday night. I would have had a winning dividend of about $1.15-$1.20, but that wasn't available, so I just decided to go for this total sure thing.

I hope so for your sake Goldmember. You'd think you were safe, but you never know. If Australia bats first, I think it's a certainty, but if they bat 2nd, they might just coast to a win and use it as batting practice.

For my free bet the other day, I went for England at $1.02 against Bangladesh. I did think about going for the most 6s at $1.10, but eventually decided to play it safe. Glad I did, because Bangladesh hit three 6s and England only one!!!

You got me worried now, didnt know about that other game, Banladesh hit more 6's than the poms crikey!, but i still think gilly and the boys will want to take out some frustration on someone, i'll have to watch the game now to get them over the line.

Yeah, as I said, I think it depends on who bats first. If Australia bats first, then I think they're a certainty to hit most 6s. But if Bangladesh bats first and get an average score like 180-200, then Australia might decide to just use it as batting practice. Then again, for Gilchrist, hitting 6s IS batting practice. :D
