Up yours spyhunter. If you knew about this forum you would realise that name calling is not appropriate...

Keep following tips on the forum, the more you lay, the more I win. It is people like you that make punting profitable for the rest of us....

Spyhunter you certainly didn't think this topic was pretentious when Chucks lays were losing. And if you'll listen to what has been stated the horse was not favorite, or considered to start favorite at the time of Chucks tip, in fact the only time it became favorite was just before you layed it. If you cant handle losing, don't bet.

Chuck, i know its unlikely, but i think it would have been sensational if you lulled these sheep into a false sense of security with a couple of good lays, then hit them were it hurts when the time was right. Thats why people should never ever take a tip for the lay, especially if there is no or very little exposed form.

I admire you patriotism Spyhunter, you are clearly a Turkey.

Gday All

Ok I know i shouldnt buy into this ,,, BUT... Pinpointing the horse that Chuck did as a lay, to me does not seem unreasonable.. It has been said earlier ran a poor race on a heavy track at Ballarat.. It was beaten 9.7 lengths, had a better jockey on than it did at Donald (IMHO) and met much the same class of livestock, maybe the Bal race was a bit stronger.. where somebody came up with the trainer as being 'astute ' is obvioulsy a personal opinion, one that I don't happen to share.

As for nominating horse to lay, to me the shorter the lay price the better, so that would mean soft favs are the go for a layer.. It really doesnt matter if you lay to lose 500$ on a 1/1 shot or a 5/1 shot, if it wins you will still lose 500$, on the other hand if it loses the shorter the price the better the return to the layer..

As others have said no one needs to take any notice of what people post.. people can choose to take someone's opinion or not, totally up to them, BUT it is poor poor poor form, having taken the tip to bag the person tipping when it doesnt come off.. I know from personal experience I have steered people on this forum into many double figure winners, and I will tell u there are not many that acknowlege it when it happens (There ARE some tho), but there are plenty of knockers.. So the way I see it its pretty open and shut, either take the tip or don't... your call, but if you do and you are getting it for free STFU when it doesnt come off if you are not prepared to acknowlege the times IT DOES come off...

To the bloke who reckons Tips should be banned... If it worries you that much don't read em, Ignore them.. do us all a favour.. I dont believe for 1 minute that u care for the person who gets the dud tips, and does their hard earned so spare me that garbage... If you are too clever to take notice of tips you should be way ahead in your punting endeavours, and should never have a need to have a look at tips.. But leave the tipsters alone, you don't use them, it doesnt concern you.. Some people do find them useful, obviously you dont

A few people getting upset on spyhunter's behalf, and others having a go at him.

The man himself seems to have copped the loss & moved on.

Wow!!!! only just read this thread and will get my two bobs worth in.
For those that cant take a tip and then decide YOURSELF if it is worth your hardearned then bad luck, I for one (and the proof is on this forum) have been steered to many winners from the likes of Mav, Mr ed,chuck, Xpt and co. and these people that are sharing there knowledge (something some dont have obviously) should be commended.

Thats better..
