I obviously made a mistake in not giving Lunalana a big enough bonus for recent good form and for great form on the track. It had won 3 and been placed in all 5 starts on the track, so it definitely should have been in the top 5 somewhere. Instead I had it 9th!

As you say it is a learning process. I'll certainly be trying to refine mine over the next few weeks. Quite like the idea , hopefully it'll perform OK. Also need to find a way to do it quicker : - )

Gonna try MV race 2 & 7 for tomorrow nite. Will certainly be weighting track perfomances more there.

Yes, I do bet on these races, but I'm taking it easy until I think I've got it worked out well. I've really only been doing this for a couple of months, so it's all a bit experimental. Picked up the trifecta and first 4 on the Newcastle Newmarket yesterday, one race where the ratings really went well. Did very well on Saturday at Caulfield too. I'll try to have a look at those M.Valley races you mentioned and see what I come up with.

No prob if you can't do those races , just be interesting to see what you get. compared to me , esp since you're a bit further down the track ( pardon the pun ) with it than I am.
